Pretty good off the cuff interview of Rodgers on Homer's show. The highlight probably being Aaron slamming Kornheiser.

Sounds like he isn't much of a "Homer" fan either.

Haha,Rodgers is one of those guys I continue to like more and more.
Kornheiser & Homer are two people I absolutely can't stand, listening to Rodgers blast them was quite entertaining.

I basically agreed with everything Rodgers said. I have always said Dennis Miller was better than Kornheiser even though Dennis Miller really wasn't that good.

I actually like both Kornheiser and Homer (though, most times I wish Mitch would STFU), but I agree with Rodgers on Kornheiser's MNF role - he was terrible and TK knew it and owned up to it.
The problem with putting Kornheiser there was that he was a journalist and writer, not an analyst or a football mind. What I mean by that is that Kornheiser was interested in the casual headlines and broad themes rather than the specifics of the game, and while that's fine for a newspaper writer or a talk show host, that doesn't work when you're broadcasting the game. ESPN thought that bringing Tony in would revolutionize it's broadcasts, but, in doing so, they set him up to fail. His work with the Washington Post was really good and I like the back and forth with Wilbon on PTI. But, he just wasn't the guy for calling games, plain and simple.
I agree that Miller was better on MNF, but I despise Dennis Miller in general, so it's not like I really enjoyed listening to him, either.

I obviously prefer certain announcers over other ones, but generally don't care that much who is calling games i watch. Kornheiser was an exception to that, i loathed him calling MNF games to the point i had to mute the TV a few times.

"Didn't realize people actually listened to Homer's show," Rodgers said in one. "No disrespect meant, just sharing a couple funny stories and opinions in jest."

What I've learned from these stories is that Aaron Rodgers rules.
