Look on the brightside, we can consolidate 2 long term deals into 1.

The minimum deal would have to include torontos pick IMO.

We are not going to give away an additional asset in Hawes in this type of deal.
If we are taking in Hedo, we are the ones that is gaining assets, not the other way around.
The #13 isn't enough incentive to compensate that we are giving away a favorable contract in Nocioni (in comparison with Hedo) in exchange.

Well that's why the 13th pick is there.. based on talent Turk is better than Noc.
KF10 wrote:Take this into perspective:
Hedo's Contract:
$9,800,000
$10,600,000
$11,400,000
$12,000,000
= $43,800,000 owed in a span of 4 years
Nocioni's Contract:
$6,850,000
$6,650,000
= $13,500,000 owed in as span of 2 years
The Raptors are saving $26,745,000 throughout 4 years.
Doing a basic swap of Nocioni for Hedo, would be almost a godsend for Toronto. They would save tremendous $$$ from that one move.
But the question is, why are we doing this? The only way we get Hedo is if Toronto has to overpay to get rid of him.
And I don't think Toronto is in position to lose assets knowing that Bosh will be gone too. That team would be one of the worst teams in the NBA. A Bosh-less, asset-free Toronto Raptors team.
This is what I don't think the trade will happen. There is too much going against it.

He is 1 year removed from being a major piece to the Magic making the finals. I am not saying he is the greatest player in the world, but he would be a huge compliment to Tyreke. Imagine we draft Wes Johnson and Tyreke has Johnson and Turk to shoot outside. Plus Turk can dribble and even play the 4 in spot minutes. He is a major upgrade to Noc and would make the team better. I would not do it straight up.....only with the 13th pick involved.
king125 wrote:Yes I do, on a team that has nobody except Tyreke Evans cemented in its future plans, I want all the talent and diversity we can get. It will give us a better view on who to keep moving forward.
We could also go Cousins and Udoh with the 5 and 13 pick and be overly packed in the post. I don't care. This season is going to tell a lot about who is in our future plans. Hawes? Thompson? Green? Casspi? 5? 13? Garcia? and even Landry and Udrih?
Bottom line is to trade Noc for a lottery pick and an automatic upgrade at SF (and a NBA finals impact player) is a no brainer and the Kings would be insane not to do it.
