Tim D has no credibility in my book.

He's been known to talk after games and after the results. I think this is the first i've heard him talk before a game. Either way who cares what he says. Even if true....Stern might call the refs and ask the refs to actually do the opposite of what Tim has said.....just to make him look like an @ss.

It's hard to give Tim any credibility at all. He has an agenda, so it's difficult to believe that he's viewing these games with any kind of objectivity.

Agree with the two posters above me.

Donaghy is a clown, there's no point giving this guy any attention.

I think Tim is credible on a FEW things, like "I think that call was a straightforward ref error" and "That lame call a moment later sure looked like a make-up call".

And maybe even on the "Joey Crawford keeps ice buckets by his bed to piss in" one. ;)

But not on anything much more dramatic than that.

The Bill Kennedy thread.

Post#7 » by UGA Hayes » Wed Jun 9, 2010 4:01 am

This thread is not about the overall officiating in game 3. Salvatore was very good tonight. Dan Crawford made a few sketchy calls, but he really not that good of a ref. But Bill Kennedy was outright f-ing us over and it could not be more blatant. Everything in the power of Celtics fan should be done to if not get him fired, at least disgraced his name. I have never ever been as angry at a single official as I was at Kennedy tonight. He might have literally made one call in our favor the entire night. He made numerous unbelievably bogus calls tonight.

The Pierce #5 then the Sheed calls back-to-back were historically bad. The officiating was terrible tonight and there is no way around it, especially on the C's home floor. It was inexcusable. Was it the sole reason the C's lost or any such foolishness? No. Did it play a role in the loss? No doubt.

Can't pin this loss on anything other than failure to defend in the 1st half and failure to finish offensive plays all game.

Seriously screw this guy. We had our chances STILL because our defense was nothing short of stellar in the second half except for a few stints vs FIsher, but we ultimately blew it with poor offensive execution. Period.

Tim knows his ****. The predicted how games 3 and 4 were going to be played out in the Lakers/Suns series, and he was right on the money. He called game 4 of the Celtics/Magic game and was right on that too.

That says a lot. Once the Celtics made their run in the 3rd quarter, he made sure Paul Pierce would not be a factor in the 4th quarter evident by that BS 5th foul. That was a joke. These refs and David Stern are jokes.

Kennedy his here for game 3 for a reason. Stern wants the series to go atleast 6 games. I look for the officating to finally favor the Celtics in game 4.

The one that ticked me off was the one called when wee has a possesion to tie it up and he called an offensive foul on Allenfor throwing his arms in the air to take Fishers arms off him. I've almostnever seen that called an offensive foul.

The NBA is becoming unwatchable because of how the game is being called. The refs have sucked for both sides. The only reason I am watching this series is because it is the Celtics. If any other team was playing I would not even be watching. Basketball used to be my favorite sport to watch but now it is football.
Reggie stood out like a sore thumb no tattoos no agenda no chirping nothing Just a guy who could score at will He played college ball at Northeastern he replaced Larry as Celtics captain he belonged to Boston.
And I still miss him. Even now.
