Depends on what you need to do to get Henry and what it would take to get Rudy.

I go Henry. I believe he has the potential to be a star and I think with Rudy it's a case of what you see is what you get. We know what he can do but will he get better or will he play the way he does now for the rest of his career?

I think Henry goes top 10. Seems to be getting a lot of Buzz. Some of the bigs -- Udoh, Aldrich seem to be falling

From Unfadeable on Rube --

"Latest Rumor is that Rudy is on the Block and that the wolves are pursuing. Right now the deal being discussed is Portland trades the #22 overall + Rudy for the T-Wolves #16 overall."

That's about the value I'd expected, but it raises an interesting point -- would we rather do this deal or just trade the #23 for him straight up? How far could we move up by packaging 22 and 23 -- higher or lower than 16??? The only problem is we may lose out on a shot for Henry or George, unless we can find a taker for one of Ellington/Pekovic/Sessions/Gomes/22/23 and move up that way.

If I was Minny I would rather do a straight up 23 for Rubio swap. Simplifies it a bit and gives you more draft options. However I really doubt Portland would want that since it seems the whole reason they want the trade is to move up.

He'd be a nice addition but I'd rather go after someone better if it costs more then 23 to add him and even then it's a question of who's available there. The guy is a role player and after you get over the novelty of his connection with Rubio there's not a whole lot to like. He brings what Ellington brings and will presumably have a similar role. So I'd rather go after someone younger like Henry.

I would hate dealing #22 + Rudy for #16 although value is fair because I want to move up not down.

At some point we have to get a couple players. Can Rudy play or not? How's his defense? I don't see this as being a difficult decision for management. If they know he can fill some needs and could fit in Triangle offense, then it's a decent pickup at this point in time ... we NEED a SG, so it's not like we're spittin in the wind.

Continuing to speculate on players (draft) who have yet to play in the NBA is not overly productive ... we need to get some balance in our teams maturity. Geez, some of these guys are still scared to sleep with the lights off ... we need leadership in a bad way.

There's still a hundred ways this offseason could go. I think more important decisions need to be made first. I don't want to trade for Fernandez and then by the time the season starts he's our 3rd string SG.

Agree ... most will hinge on how the #4 pans out and our off-season will start to unfold from there...
