It was first reported by Peter Vecsey, that LeBron was leaning toward a three year contract with the Cavaliers. He reported it early yesterday morning in an article in the New York Post.
http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/knicks/t ... 8e8MUDbtlLThere are rumors going around that LeBron is close to signing a 3 year extension with the Cavaliers, and that Tom Izzo will accept the Head-coaching position with the Cavaliers. Yahoo sports reporter, Adrian Wojnarowski , using his twitter account has made the comment that Izzo was looking for assistants, and particularly a top assistant with winning experience.
According to the rumors, LeBron is expected to sign the extension and Izzo is expected to sign on as Head-Coach before the draft. That seems to go against what most pundits believe, thinking that LeBron wont make a decision until mid- July.
Another rumor that is going around is that the Raptors, Kings and Cavaliers are working on a large, multi-player trade.
- In the trade thread on this forum, I hypothesized a trade with Sacramento, and a 3-way with the Kings & Toronto; the latter including Chris Bosh. I doubt that the rumored trade includes Chris Bosh... but I wouldn't be upset if it did.
Those of you that get on XM radio, or AOL radio, go to the Sports-talk station out of Los Angeles, they are talking about these rumors right now.
