As for Tracy McGrady, the highest profile remaining free agent, there has been a lot of interest. His fate will be more difficult to decide, so if anyone wants to make a more detailed case as to why he should sign with you, let me know at some point today. I think of all the free agents, T-Mac has received the most offers, however the value of the offers has all been pretty similar.

Any input on T-Mac from teams who don't want him, would be welcome.

Does he want to win?
Does he want money?
Does he want both?!

I would think he would sign with whatever team had the best physical therapist since he spends more tim ein the trainers room then on the court!

McGrady would probably sign with a contender for the lle, otherwise he would want the MLE for 3 years probably.

Matt brings some more range to our BIG rotation. Anytime you can add backup PF/C’s that can shoot 40% from 3pt range consistently, you can create matchup nightmare’s. Welcome to Hollywood

The Washington Wizards are happy to see Etan Thomas back in the nation's capital. He will provide valuable bench leadership at the power forward position for the young and rebuilding Wizards franchise.

I like Mahinmi's potential, and feel he could come in off the bench and contribute, and by coming to Dallas he gets to join two other French prospects whom he can grow with in Beaubois, Seraphin....

LA Lakers have just informed me they are renouncing the qualifying offer on Jordan Farmar. He is now an unrestricted free agent. And lonely.

Phoenix is pleased to announce the addition of Pops-Mensah-Bonsu. We are thrilled with the motor this kid has and we are sure he will quickly become a fan-favorite due to his hustle and work ethic.

Tracy McGrady

Post#115 » by lukekarts » Thu Jun 10, 2010 9:18 pm

Tracy McGrady has agreed to sign with the Miami Heat for a 1 year vets minimum, with a no trade clause.

He received lots of offers, and it could of gone one of two ways:

1) Money
2) Ring-chasing

When it comes to money, there was one clear leader, and that was the same for winning a ring. After much debating with a few guys, we decided that whilst money would be important for most, for T-Mac, he has phenomenal career earnings, and nothing left to prove, so he's opted to chase the ring...
