Andres Nocioni: "I openly told the Kings that I wasn't going to stay. They told me they were OK with it and that they were going to try to trade me to a competitive team, probably on draft day... I have to wait."

Andres Nocioni: "Toronto is not a bad option, but I don't want to talk about rumors."

you want Bosh as well?

no way Toronto is giving 13th and Derozan, while taking back Noc AND garcia. We're going to dump the youth on our team, while we rebuild, for grandpas Noc and Garcia?

**** ain't happening.

How come the response to a **** suggested trade for your team is absolutely lopsided trade the other way.

No offense but some of you guys are on crack if you think the Raptors will add Derozan or the 13th pick in any Hedo/Nocioni/Garcia deal. The Raptors end up saving something like 12 mil over 4-5 years which isn't really much to warrant that kind of incentive. The fact that you guys get the best player in the deal more than makes up for that.

1 - I think the idea that Hedo is the best player in a Hedo for Nocioni/Garcia deal, may not be the case anymore with how far Hedo as fallen, and even if he is it's not by very much any more.

2 - Even in a Hedo for Nocioni/Garcia deal, Sacramento's taking on something like an additional $25 million over the course of all the contracts, and the difference between Hedo & Nocioni/Garcia sure as hell isn't $25 million anymore, so in the unlikely event that Sacramento would even be interested in bringing Hedo back with his bloated contract, there would have to be some kind of additional incentive.

3 - Odds are this will go nowhere because Sacramento will just flat out refuse to take Hedo and his bloated contract back after getting their cap situation right with all the trades they've made over the past couple of seasons.

The thing with teams like Sac and Toronto is free agency is a more often a trap than anything else. The only way teams like us can sign these MLE+ FAs is if we overpay for mediocore assets, just like this Hedo deal. We have the manufacture the incentive to pull these guys in - and usually that makes it not worth it.

So IMO switching Noc for Hedo is not as much a killer as it'd seem. First of all the next two years the difference is only 3-3.5 mil and your payroll the next 2 years is 33 and 19 mil. After that Hedo has a big deal but he'll likely be moveable with only 2 years left on his contract and again you guys will have little big contract, Tyreke will still be on his rookie deal that whole time and it's likely your next important players after him will be on rookie deals as well.

The one advantage of capspace for lesser markets is doing those Eric Maynor swallowing contract deals. But those are hardly franchise changers and if you guys are smart you can keep the capspace even with Hedo

With that said it won't be a straight up deal if it has any chance of happening. I would be OK with a Nocioni, Greene for #13, Hedo deal. Not estatic, but OK

Nah...there's just no way we're giving up any young assets to take on Hedo, and we will be demanding them. I really like Hedo, and even though we have plenty of youth at SF, I wouldn't mind him on the team in theory. But that contract just hurts. If we are going to overpay somebody like Hedo, I'd at least prefer it not at a position where we already have two very nice young players.

Kings would need to move Nocioni & Garcia and then still get significant sweetner to even consider bringing in Hedo, more than Toronto's likely willing to give.

^^ Agreed with the first and last part (to some extent) of your contribution. If we have to add either one of Greene or Casspi, I dnt feel as if there will be a deal between both parties. Maybe if a third team can be involved

What if the Raptors take on Nocioni/Udrih/Garcia and send you Hedo/expirings? I just want to get a gauge on how you guys see this, I don't think Toronto would do it, but I want to see if there is a deal to be had without the addition of an asset from Toronto's side.

We don't put negative value on Udrih anymore. Not only that but I believe alot of Garcia's negative value (the majority actually) comes from his injury last year. The year before Garcia put up 13/3/2 w/ a steal + block, shot 40% from 3, and played good defense. Is he worth $6mil a year? Maybe not but he's nowhere near as overpaid (even % wise) as Hedo is.

Yeah, I'm not really looking to move Cisco, and definitely not Beno. I am looking to move Noc but not for a much bigger, longer, uglier contract at a position where we're not already overloaded. It's not even a consideration for me without the #13 pick.

Not even if every Raptor fan in Realgm begged on their knees would Sacramento do this.

^It's not like the Raptors would be excited about taking on more salary overall in ditching Hedo for more depth yet players that really aren't upgrades at any position. I just don't think there's a deal to be had here (as I mentioned earlier on). I'd see your reasoning as to why the draft pick has to be included, but you've also got to understand how stupid it would be for a potentially rebuilding team to be trading a solid asset in that draft pick to appease Turk/get rid of him.

Most Kings fans have been saying that basically from the beginning of this nasty rumor.
