That's Kevin Gregg. If you were around early this season, people warned you about this.
(This isn't an 'I told you so', because I wasn't one of them.)

I am another one of those who read the warnings and admit they told me this would happen.

Great impact win to stay in the race, both the yankees and red sox lost today so..
Still **** Gregg, we really need to replace him.

4-5 Through the 9 games isn't bad especially considering most of us were thinking that we would be lucky to win 1 game.

How about Brett Cecil? What a studddddddddd. 6 runs allowed in his last 36.3 innings.

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

Yeah but it hurts way more knowing they choked in 3 of those 5 losses

Yes, Cecil... Big win, big confidence booster for the team. Now, onto interleague play... *shudder*

BJ Ryan was actually elite during one season for the Jays. I doubt we'll be able to say that about Kevin Gregg (who unfortunately won't be losing his role until he actually blows another save).

Oh that one year. I used to go with a group of friends and we loved his intro. Crappy metal with fire/explosion graphics on the side. We'd stand up and make explosiony sounds while he trotted out. The next season just wasn't the same going to the park, 'cause he got hurt and was out most or all of it, then by the 3rd year I think they were gone, but I can't remember if he had them to start the year and they got rid of it or not, 'cause he wasn't as dominant and the comic effect was far too obvious.
And now I'm depressed, 'cause that's one of the highlights of my Jays fandom in the last 5-10 years.

Yes, I remember the flame graphics when he came out that season. Pretty awesome. The Jays were actually good that year into July/August. He allowed only two runs for the first 3 months (38.2 IP), and 11 in total (72.1 IP, 1.37 ERA, 335 ERA+).
