McCarthy gets extension and street (temporarily)

Green Bay Packers Coach Mike McCarthy has agreed to a new five-year contract worth about $4 million per season but will wait until after this weekend to sign it, according to an NFL source familiar with the negotiations.

The Packers had been working on the deal for several weeks and had the parameters set by last weekend.

Change the street name permenantly if the Packers make it to the Superbowl.

That's what he gets for turning this team from 4-12 to 8-8 and this year to 14-3 (and hopefully 16-3).
