This I can say for sure, Danny Ferry's departure from team damaged #Cavs rep in league. Veteran coaches want stability in front office.

WTF? How could Bucher doubt that Izzo has an offer from Cleveland? Why else would Izzo have made the big visit to Cleveland and called a team meeting, after which his players expressed belief that he would leave MSU? I don't understand Bucher's claim here at all.

FYI, I'm tweeting, not reporting my Izzo/offer take, for a reason. Don't have it confirmed. Just color me skeptical based on chatter.

The fact that they're hot and heavy with interviewing doesn't necessarily mean there's an actual contract offer out there for him to sign... If they are still going to interview Scott, it would make sense.

But then all the "deciding" stuff from Izzo doesn't.

I have no idea who this guy is but he says he's confident that Izzo's staying at MSU.

Says he's:

# Location Lansing, MI
# Bio Weekend Sports Anchor WILX-TV

But yeah, Izzo ultimately staying would make a lot of sense now that we know LeBron is not committed to be there.

Izzo flies to Cleveland to meet with Gilbert:

Izzo: So how confident are you LeBron is coming back?
Gilbert: We'd like to say he is, but we are just not sure.
....
Gilbert: Any other questions Tom?
Gilbert: Tom? Where are you going?

For the next board awards, we should have a new one called the red222 award. This year it should go to red222.

LOL. Spelling FTW!!

Tom Izzo still has not decided whether or not he wants to accept the head coaching job of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers have also talked to Mike Woodson about the position this week, according to sources.

Anyways, this is crazy. Why would Cleveland consider Woodson?!?!?! Seriously, good for Chicago though.

Dan Gilbert is quickly learning it's not easy to be the GM (I don't count there puppet as the GM). He's emotional, has money, and is desperate, that's a bad combination when your dealing with a lot of smart people.

Tom Izzo hasn't made up mind, but Y! source says coach still needs to get over some "big concerns" about Cavs before he could accept job.

Izzo's trying to get clear understanding of what plan would be with LeBron -- and without him. One thing Izzo is sold on: owner Dan Gilbert.

Should have read like this:

How does Izzo NOT know what the plans are though. Didn't he just spend quite some time with Dan Gilbert discussing it? Something isn't right.

If Izzo does take job, it'll be more a statement on belief in the owner than expectation he'll get to coach LBJ. That's a big leap to take.
