If you arent going to repeat yourself, or contribute anything beyond being the nerdy sidekick guy at the far end of the bar with an occasional drop in comment...then you know what? SHUT UP.

Maybe I have it wrong. Maybe you are the whinny girlfriend. Either way...my lord, dont say right, wrong...etc. EXPLAIN your thoughts. Otherwise, really who the hell are you to tell anyone they are right or wrong? Certainly not to me. Make a point worth listening to already. Otherwise, you have made yourself useless.

I may seem like a holier than thou arogant SOB. But at least I back up my points and let others decide. You? Sitting there on the sidelines? Debate, contribute...get involved with ANYTHING already. Or just be happy to ask questions...that is fine. Otherwise, again...SHUT THE HELL UP.

Edit: Dude, I'm not trying to fight you, so let's just drop it and be done with it. If you respond to his, I will not respond unless its about basketball. If its not, then I will simply ignore it.

Hope we do, we could at least get one valuable asset(maybe move up the draft for a team looking for young depth and roster space) for the two picks. I say early 20s is quite realistic.

That's fine. Its actually what I am asking you for. To talk basketball. I am interested in your thoughts on AK, Prince, which contracts you want to go after rather than wait, whatever. How you would use them in a S&T idea. To make sure or to hear from others...that they can or cannot be re-traded without restriction right away if you are unsure.

What I am not interested in is someone who thinks they are going to try and be my etiquette hall monitor without joining the conversation. I don't think you meant to do that...but you did.

Ask around. I know a thing or two about a thing or 100. I don't mind being disagreed with. I never expect anyone to say flat out...hey absolutely. But I do expect if someone feels strongly in opposition for what I have had to say...to have a discussion about it. BRING IT ON.

And you know what? it is highly possible you may find out something you didn't realize. Or, you might help highlight another angle through the conversation. You may even find out...hey I misunderstood this guy and what he was trying to say.

So? Want to move forward? Great. Please...feel free to give me some thoughts and lets have some group feedback about a plan for this team. I did not read your comments from a month ago. I truly would like to hear what you have to say.

From the many years knowing Cox-E, he definitely knows a thing or two about b-ball. I didn't always agree with him all the time but he was definitely right on alot of things. Time always tell. For example, I'm still griping over the fact that he was right about Sean May being the next Marcus Fizer. I was really high on Sean May but Enetric was telling me he was going to be the next Marcus Fizer, while having an injury riddled career. I think he was really spot on on that one. Not to say he's right all the time because he's definitely not, and i can say that now because he's not my mentor anymore(Yes, JD now runs this shiznit!), but he's more then earned his respect for his opinions, whether or not you agree with it. So come on, let's get back to the debating and healthy arguments, shall we?

By the way i dedicate this pic to my old mentor, Cox-E(aka Enetric)

Anyone else think Zoubek would make a fantastic backup C and practice dummy?

Not me. I never had boo to say either way about him. I didnt feel it was a teribble pick but I absolutely know who I wanted that year for that pick and it wasnt Sean Wiliams. Someone here will remember that I said...take Rudy Fernandez in that draft. No question he was the guy I wanted.

Just kiddin, I do remember you wanting Rudy, but that you were ok with Sean, as was I. I don't think there was any doubt that the kid had the talent. And I think, after draft time, with all the discussions this team supposedly had (especially Thorn with John Lucas, who was mentoring Sean at the time), I think all of us felt like "OK, team is doing due diligence in reviewing his character..if they say OK, then I'll look at it from a strictly talent stand-point", and from that standpoint, Sean was a no brainer where he was drafted.

Honestly, I was high on Rudy in the draft too, but Sean was a no brainer at that pick. Yes he was a head case but he had a lot of talent in a need position. He was a top 3 best player available at #17 available.

Now, bringing up Sean Williams is another reason why I DON'T WANT COUSINS IN ANY CAPACITY. They're basically the exact opposite player, but the same situation. Cousins is very gifted on the offensive end, but will lack the lateral quickness and athletic ability to defend talented 4 and 5's in the NBA. I can't see Zach...er...I mean Demarcus being a difference maker in the NBA. I'd rather trade down if I could only draft Cousins. Let someone else deal with the headache. I just hope we learned from the Sean situation.

^^I understand the point you're trying to make, but comparing Sean williams and DeMarcus Cousins has all the relevance of comparing Jason Kidd to Jordan Farmar as prospects...

Yup. I think people are not seeing the type of prospect Cousins is, in terms of pure basketball potential, because he happens to lift more donuts to his mouth than weights in the weightroom.
