Why not? Sure negativity seems to follow GS players, but from past experiences they come here and rebound nicely. Monta will soon be an all-star.

Would you give the #10 and expirings for him?

I probably would give up the #10, Rush, and filler for Monta as well. Doesn't mean GS would even consider it.

I'd try like hell to sell it.

Granger needs somebody to snipe with him.

I second that.

What????

That's absurd. If we could pull that off along with the 'absorb Okafor to get Collison' we'd go from scrub-filled bottom feeder to top-5 team in the East, guaranteed.

Collison
Ellis
Granger
Okafor
Hibbert

Is a sick, sick, versatile lineup. A bench of potato sandwich, cheese fries, Hansbrough, Solo Jones, McBob is plenty enough to back up that starting lineup.

Don't anybody go offering that on the GSW boards, either, please, they woudl rightfully tear you apart

Ellis reminds me too much of Gilbert Arenas. You can't win in the NBA with that type of point guard. You need a guy that distributes first and plays good defense. Sure Ellis might look cool on paper, but when it comes down to it history shows this won't win championships.

Let's do the Collison trade FIRST, then get Ellis at SG. Right now, I feel like Ellis wouldn't be the best fit on this team, and I'd rather get Bradley or Bledsoe (someone who fills our need for a better PG) than Ellis. I'd rather target Parker with that package.

It was offered by a prominent GS fan on the trade board.
