Really? You found that funny? I remember making that joke in 8th grade or so. I guess it explains some things.

I don't even think its that much of a risk, due to the fringe benefits that having CP3 on the team would bring. If we got CP3, without giving up Brook, and without taking on any of their putride contracts, we might even be able to sign a max. Though, admittedly, I haven't done the math on this, so I could be wrong.

I'm not really saying that it's a risk, but the guys that are iffy on this situation needs to realize that this is a must do deal even if Brook is involved.

Not only will we become a MUCH better team, the prospect of playing alongside Paul will surely entice the likes of Lebron, Wade and Bosh.

I think it needs to be Brook or the 3rd, not both. Obviously, either one would be the center piece of the deal, but I can't see Thorn/Management sending both out in the same deal. Maybe they would if Okafor was coming back, but that kind of defeats the purpose, since we'd sort of become the New Orleans of the east because we wouldn't have the cap space (depending on what the deal is, of course), without the penny-pinching ways.

That's what I meant by fringe benefits. If we got CP3 and still have cap space, we'd immediately become number 1/2 destination.

Sigh, either way, no chance of anything happening, CP3 isn't going anywhere.

But yeah on the subject, if you can get CP3 without having to give up Brook, then you do it in a heartbeat. Yes, you can worry about his injury history but in order to become a contender and a champion in this league you HAVE to and I mean HAVE TO take risks, and if that involves the best PG in the game, you sign up to it like you were signing up to watch a 12-round fight between E and demens.

Come on bro. You have watched me do what I do for years. This guy isnt up to three rounds with me. Its like boxing against a fat golfer in bad pants.

Under the contracts I sent out...absolutely. His contract per talent? Wow. Think about the guys who will get his cash next season and more in this league. The heaht thing? Again...that is what physicals are for. Either way...all these sceanrios are getting him dirt cheap talent wise.

Even giving up Brook...you have to think about it. Keeping Brook? No hesitation. And without going round and round....I can tlisten to hey lets get Prince or AK...but lets fear CP3?????

It is absolute absurdity.

Hate Okafor's contract per talent. HATE. I agree...giving up brook would hurt and they would fight to the bitter end. But again...would I be shocked if they caved and sent Brook Lopez for Chris Paul???? No.

I expect Okafor to be a Knick in February for Eddie Curry's contract. Him or Biedrins.

Well, then I think the Paul move would be much sexier than the 12 rounder which I will end before you get back to your seat with your first beer of the night.

OKAY, ok... this is the first and only warning I am going to make...no derrogatory comments...we know its beyond jabbing and some are taking it personal...

E, take it down a notch and please dont get personal with members (I will only mention you here, because I know you can handle it and take it for what it is)...as I always say I understand where all of you are coming from with your respective opinions, but we are more than dancing on the line of acceptable references...for kicks or not and if you're looking for a reaction, go look for that elsewhere...

As for others who dont know E as well as most of us, dont take it personally...he sizes everyone up and sooner or later the boys get separated from the men (this is a general statement)...

Either way, keep the jabs above the belt please...

JJ, I ignored him for a week. He made it personal, not me. I just finish things. But honestly if you are going to say it publically...then I am calling you out. How could you let him crawl back onto the boards in the first place? Check the IP.
