i think hollinger's articles from last year showed a huge drop after the 10th pick... so kinda makes me nervous. but if you think the draft's weak, then two shots in the dark are better than one.

i don't really think this is a weak draft. There are a bunch of NBA-ready guys ready to contribute, it's just they don't have that much ceiling. The all-star potential is quite slim but the possible role players who could stay in the league for 8-10 years are a handful. I just hope we could land a possible all-star in a steal.

I think this draft will turn out okay, maybe a player like Babbit is the next Ginobili, we never know. Like all drafts, give this one a few years to develop. Most rookies aren't ready to contribute immediately, but after a few seasons, players like Rondo & Granger might emerge.

We've also witnessed some so called deep drafts produce very little overall value.

12&25
16&23

Either would be fine.

I'd sort of prefer the 16/23 trade. If there is a guy you like at 12, but isn't the best pick at 12, you might reach for him. If you can get him at 16, great. Then you can get another guy you like with the 23.
