I haven't followed soccer much in last years so I thought Wolfsburg is kind of a big team as they won bundesliga not long ago. Džeko is worth mentioning it is especially striking that he has to survived was as a teenager before he could become a star.

Yeah, he got subbed just after he scored his goal.
Though, i've got Juan on my squad as well and that goal North Korean did cost me a couple points.

Tomorrow i still have Pique and David Villa in action.

Any news about Schalke's Morávek going on loan to Eindhoven? That could do wonders to him, Magath is killing him.

My team is Borussia Mönchengladbach.
We've had a couple of czech guys like Tomas Galasek(last year the second half of the season), Vaclav Sverkos, Milan Fukal or Marek Heinz(yeah, that worked out well  ) on our team during the last couple of years.

I don't know about Moravek moving elsewhere but i'm not up to date when it comes to Shalke.

Here's a great side with infos about transfers and anything, though, too bad most of you guys aren't good in German, i suppose.

BTW: Which czech team do you support?

hey doc... how do most czechs feel about slovakia? how did stoch look today?

Stoch played only in the final minutes, so he was irrelevant.

Well, it really depends on particular individual, i guess most people doesn't care much. Generally both nations choosing each other as their favourite neighbouring nation in random sociology polls so surely there is more Czechs rooting for them then against them, some sincerely, some mildly, some just don't care and some are rooting against them in return to numerous Slovaks not forgetting to let us know if they beat us in some sport or last longer in some tournament (some are rooting against them playfully just to have a good laugh, some are dead serious about not liking them). Although that some kind of rivalry is more bounded to ice-hockey as Slovakia is really a hockey country nad both countries have top teams while soccer teams weren't on similar level till lately.

As Czech team didn't qualify, Slovakian soccer team gets a lot of space in Czech media.Their coach Weiss (father of their current midfielder) played for Czechoslovakia in WC in Italy 1990 and is pretty close to current head of czech soccer so on official level they are on good terms.

(if you ment you question more like a questions how is it between nations generally just PM me, I would Pm you back not being too Ot here).

I didn't care much but since I started watching the match I was sincerely rooting for them, I couldn't make myself not too since they were so serious about it since the anthems etc.

BTW are national anthems of both sides still skipped by American broadcasters?

Nah, i follow the Clippers.
I'm alright with the Bobcats, but i just can't get into following them starting with that generic logo and being a replacement team for the Hornets, which should still be in Charlotte.

Though, i'm good with you guys on this board(will try to post at least in this thread, even after the WC, if you're alright with it) as you've been solid during the time when everyone told us Sonics fans that we should stop crying because it's a business, teams are moving and that owners can do whatever they want to.

I like rooting for underdogs so I'm a bit of a fan of Bohemians 1905, third team in Prague after Sparta and Slavia, getting up from bankruptcy and saved by its fans (so I'm not calling myself a fan but just a sympathiser as I didn't spend a cent). Morávek is biggest recent product still considered to be a second Rosický, magath didn't let him play nor let him go somewhere on loan. Panenka is biggest name from the history of the club. Ex-Nürnberg Marek Nikl plays for them now.

I loved Fukal, he had 2 or 3 last minute goals from headers in Champions league for Sparta in one season, weird stuff for a right defansman/wingback. He always seemed like a nice guy. i of course know the others you mentioned.

cool. thanks doc. i was just curious if there was any bad blood between the nations now that they are separated. i remember reading stories about when former yugoslavia split and the guys who were on the national bball team, dino radja, toni kukuc, vlade divac etc... who were once good friends, ended up hating each other because some were serbian and some were croatian... or something like that.

anyway... like you said, dont want to get too OT. was mainly just wanting to know if majority of your country was rooting for them to do well in your absence.

shame stoch didnt play more... but what do i care... chelsea sold him to fenerbahce last week. i dont undestand that move. i thought everyone had real high hopes about stoch. he had a great year at fc twente on loan. on well. i guess yossi benayoun gets his and joe cole's minutes now.

You can change you captain as long as you have someone yet to play a game this round and a legal way to make substitutions i.e. you can still change players and/or captaincy till tomorrow games.

i assume you were once a sonics fan following detlef schrempf (an old fave of mine). man i loved the sonics in the late 80s and early-mid 90s. i was particularly fond of the dale ellis, tom chambers, xavier mcdaniel, nate mcmillan, michael cage team. just dont hate me for rooting for the oklahoma thunder now. i love durant.

oh well, you're always welcome to come post here and if you change your mind there plenty of room on the bobcats bandwagon.

No, nothing like that, the dissolution is sometimes called Velvet Divorce. There is just some older brother - younger brother bickering.

Has anybody seen the "average position" feature on soccernet's gamecast? It's pretty neat. You can see how teams play tactically and how far up the field everybody played. In the Brazil-NK game for example, the two center-backs were the only Brazilian players whose average position was in their own half:
