Mods and the Ignore List

I think it is time to allow users to place mods on their ignore list. The purpose of the ignore list is to avoid conflict by allowing users not to read posts by people they strongly dislike. Well mods aren't immune from getting on people's nerves for non-mod related purposes.

If mods, have an issue or need to speak directly with the poster they can easily send them a PM. Mods sometimes have to issue collective warnings/comments/posts that need to be read by everyone. It should be simple to code the website to allow mods to issue posts that can't be ignored, and thus override the ignore list feature.

I've barked up this tree before... they won't change anything. All you have to go on is hope, hope that the people who are mods aren't the types with elitist attitudes or insufferable personalities... good luck to you, I know personally my favorite board hasnt been nearly as fun because of the same situation... but all in all, its too much effort for the admin to care.

My proposal would improve the quality of this board immeasurably. I know it won't happen, but it should.

PM Howard Mass ( memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=8 ) or a Global Mod if you have issues with a Mod(s).
