Dave Griffin quits!

Post#1 » by MaryvalesFinest » Thu Jun 17, 2010 6:11 am

From Azcentral

Suns Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations David Griffin won't be selected. He told Sarver he would not apply and would not stay with the organization after his contract expires in two weeks. He is not expected to return to the Suns after working for them for 18 years

Holy Crap!!!! What is going on here? We go from bad to worse. Griff will get some good offers I think, he seems to be a class act.

Let's just say I have a "little birdie" in the organization.

You want to know how pissed they are at Robert Sarver?

I hung out with this fellow and he cussed out Sarver for about 10 minutes straight calling him a "tightwad" despicable for pocketing the extra 10 mil in playoff revenue and then having the audacity to ask Kerr to take a pay cut.

Kerr and Griffin didn't want to work under this clown anymore so they left.

We're FU..........you figure out what I"m trying to say.

Life of being a Suns fan. Momentary hope followed by periods of despair and terrible fortunes. This is just too painful sometimes.

Griffin is an even bigger loss than steve kerr. This is a shocking offseason and is gonna have major repurcussions on our on court success next year

Nothing shocking here. He said a year ago he was going to pursue other things after his contract expired.

Return to Phoenix Suns
