Was 26 young for Samuel Dalembert? Thought so. Iggy is, in reality, a 15 PPG, 3-4 APG, 5-7 Rebound 3rd option.

Which is nice, for the appropriate 6-7 million dollars. Unfortunately, he's being paid 13 million dollars.

If we can get that banger for 1/4th the current price of Iggy's bloated contract, we do it.

yeah its interesting cuz if you want to keep thad and speights and move green and kapono...you can because they come off the books next year.....or use them at the deadline to make a run.

I still think its Thad that leaves....I dont think brand/speights/smith/hawes is enough at center.

No, in reality (like most of us are living in), Iguodala is a 17.1 ppg, 6.5 rpg, and 5.8 apg player this past year. I dont know what reality you're looking at.

So no follow up trades look imminent?

I dont think we do anything else before the draft.

And we will add a big man for sure at some point.

Hollinger says the Sixers saved $2.5 mil this year, which will help them stay out of luxury tax area.

could be a financially motivated deal.

Yeah, he was a "17/6/6" player last year, as our bloated #1 option carrying the basketball for a 27 win team whose offense was JUST as bad as our defense.

Sixers VS Nets last year:

97-94

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=291111017
82-79 and YES you read that right

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=300131017
83-79. I guess a point is an improvement!

108-97. Finally....

We struggled against the freaking Nets......................

Please don't tell me we have a good unit. Stefanski showed today he's not clueless.

Hey SF76, are you sure this doesn't have to do anything with our draft selection? It seems like we don't need another wing and we need a truce center....and I am really worrid about this..

Wow I don't care to read any of those links... All I'll do is say this:

The year before that: 18.8 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 5.3 apg

and the year before that?: 19.9 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 4.8 apg

and both years we made the playoffs

actually the numbers you said have not occurred since his sophomore year.

Does anyone REALLY think Nocioni factors into the future of this franchise?

The Sixers FO has all but said within the constrants of the CBA/NBA Rules that Turner's the pick? Nocioni is a contract, nothing more or less. A contract that conviently enough expires with Brand's.

Guess who else also expires with Brand/Nocioni? Lou Williams.

We're rebuilding, not retooling, we're rebuilding.

No....You traded a center..you got a center...plus you got another guy that can play SF or PF.

You actually added depth to your frontcourt..right?

We have too many SF or SF/PF types....so I think that will change.

Turner is the pick. True SG on team..just Green and Meeks..neither is a starter..enter Turner.

We are not done tweaking....but I have no doubt who gets picked #2.

And 7/8 of those points come off fast break buckets. Another 4/5 come off the FT line. Adding the "miniumn" of 7+4=11 PTS in another setting other then half-court. When it comes to the half-court however, he's a 7-8 PPG player.

I'm sorry, he's a mediocre/average offensive player.

His numbers would drop if put on any other team. See Shawn Marion!

Backup over-30 SF's don't impact the #2 pick in the draft. I've been told by 3 people, all of whom I trust, that this has no impact on our draft selection and Turner is the target.
