Probably not. So how about Oden, Miller and Batum for Granger, Hibbert and the #10. With a follow up trade in July of Pryz and Rudy for either Hinrich, Calderon or Mo Williams.

the "organization" may be fed up of dealing with the fragile knees of Oden and Roy. Maybe they'd like to only have one pair of questionable knees on the team, and have decided to roll the dice with Oden. Paul could make Oden and all-star in a hurry if only Oden could stay healthy. I'm not sure Roy could

What about Andre Miller + Przybilla + 22 + 2011 1st for Monta Ellis + Brendan Wright?

Post this on the trade board please :)

They are losing money and they are going nowhere anytime soon. They need to blow that up and get someone to take one of their bad contracts back. If they can do that and get some young talent and draft picks back along with an expiring going their way for flexibility.........then yeah, I think he would be on the block.

Indiana has a team full of expirings, so they are not going to give talent away for future financial flexibility. I see them making a move to shed salary this year only and maybe taking future salary on like New Orleans did this year in order to avoid the tax. It would make sense to move Granger, but do not see it happening.

My guess is Baron Davis and they are looking for a third team to take Joel's contract with Andre going to the Clips. No sources on this and not the big splash people think is necessary to save KP's job.

Ya, if it's Baron Davis, Paul Allen may fire KP on the post as he's proposing the trade to him.

It isn't Davis. That is not a big name as TBPup and Quick would suggest to save KP's job. Davis it is not.

If KP's coup de grace is Baron Davis then I will join d-train and hondaaccord in the irrational hatred for KP camp.

Old rem would abuse anyone who posted that deal. You could take out Wright and add Batum and he'd still think it's awful :)

Ellis would be an ... ahem ... interesting backcourt mate for Roy. He's obviously talented, but you'd need to give Roy a hug and tell Nate to completely rework his offense.

Another name might be Ricky Rubio.. I can't even begin to think what that offer would look like.

Could Portland be involved with Philly? Its being rumored / reported that Detroit offered Prince, Villanueva and the 7th pick for Brand and the 2nd pick, but was turned down as Philly wanted more....

Would Brand and the 2nd pick be a home run? I guess it depends what you give up.

Philadelphia and Detroit discussed a deal that would have sent Tayshaun Prince to Philadelphia along with Charlie Villanueva and the Pistons' seventh pick in the draft for Elton Brand and the Sixers' second pick. Collins and the Sixers, however, wanted more in return.

Baron Davis????? No thanks. Explain to me how that is a "big name splash"?? Indiana still has some bad contracts with Murphy and Dunleavy. They have some $ tied up in players that aren't taking them anywhere. I think Granger could be had with the right package.

Baron Davis would dramatically improve the Blazers. He would come with risks that's for sure but you have to realize the Blazers are trying to add talent without having cap space and without giving up talent. How do you do that without taking some big risks?

No more past their prime players like Baron Davis, Tayshaun Prince, etc. We need a guy in his prime to speed up this teams championship window not a stop gap until our younger players re ready to contend.

Murphy and Dunleavy have one year remaining on thier contracts. For 2011/2012, after Granger the next highest contract is 2.7M to Dahntay Jones.

Andre Miller and Camby were also seen as big name splashes. You of all people should understand we are not going to get an all-star for scraps.

Just remember that you have to give to get. An all-star player in his prime will not come cheaply.

I agree that we aren't going to give up scraps. I don't know what type of package we can put together, but I would be all for giving up talent if it nets us Granger. We aren't going to get Granger for nothing. You gotta give to get. I thought that Murphy and Dunleavy had this year and next year on their contracts. That would make them more tradeable if they got an expiring back this year.

Which is why nothing goes down IMO. Pritchard thinks a lot on the lines of you guys. Not that it is bad, but this is why no major trades will go down for as long as Pritchard is here because he is to attached to players like Batum, much like a lot of other Blazer fans. We always want to get, but we always do it by sending out trash, I see it happen at least 80% of the time on the trade proposal board when a Blazer fan makes a trade. Not trying to bash and I would love for something to go down, and depending on the player I would easily include Batum in the trade (for someone like Bosh or near his level or better). Someone like Parker or Iggy, I would be more inclined to keep Batum, and that is why the trading talks stop with someone like Philly or SA because they would like Batum.

Meanwhile, I will keep discussing and hoping something goes down right along with you guys. Hopefully we get a nice player.

You don't get better by trading talent for talent. Davis is still capable of having a bigger impact on winning games than Granger and you wouldn't have to give up a LA type player to get him.

Davis is a better playmaker than Miller is (probably better than Roy too) and he can shoot the ball. Davis doesn’t get great stats but he is one of those players that are a lot better than his stats.

I guess Davis would fit here... If we want another injury prone player.
