Um... they really wouldn't be. It's not like Pau or Bynum is carrying them, it's Ron Artest. It'd be like Anthony Parker being game MVP so far.

Maybe the media will actually give credit to the Celtics instead of trying to pick apart the losing teams best player like they did with Dwight and LeBron.

I have to admit that Kobe is playing pretty well down the stretch. Those free throws were crucial and he's getting alot of "contested" rebounds.

I've been reading the C's posts about the game and I'm finding if HARD to not comment on their crying about the FT disparity. I want to just scream, "Now you know how it feels to be on the OTHER SIDE!"
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

And, oh yes, the NBA is fixed. Close, hard-fought game, then the Lakers get 15 FTs in the 4th. I don't like BOS, but they did not get one single call go their way in the last qtr.

Sorry, that was 21 FTs in the 4th.

The officiating was definitely bad...but the Celtics offense in the 4th quarter was embarrassing. They went into the "playing not to lose" offense(sort of what the Hawks do)and wound up in terrible spots with the shot clock winding down.

There were some questionable calls late, but for the most part I think the Celtics just couldn't get open shots in the 4th and Lakers always had people they could go to. Boston's attempts at run iso for Pierce failed horribly late as Artest knuckled down.
