Why are ya'll pissed? Cuz the better team beat us? Look i'd root against them if they were dirty or something, but fact is they beat us on a last second shot that we didn't defend, our fault.

Defense and rebounding wins championships. Lakers shot like crap but they were dominant on the boards and perfect on D in the 4th. That an Ray Allen's complete choke job.

im pissed purly because i hate the lakers. Hate kobe hate every single person affiliated with the lakers.

besides whistles. it's amazing that the Lakers won the whole playoffs by absolutely dominating the boards. No matter how bad they shot, they always got more opportunities.

Rofl, I was in engineering studies at school when the last quarter was on. I had the computer on play-by-play, and when Rondo hit that shot, our whole class was like YAY. But when the final whistle blew with the Lakers victorious, the whole class sighed.

Man BH I gotta lot of respect for you because I've seen how you post on this board. You know the game and I know you're certainly smarter than how this quote is coming off.

Man I've been a Laker fan since 1976......was 8 years old, I've seen this franchise through it's mediocre times and saw it at it's highest point. But to say Laker fans know "nothing" is a big reach. maybe it holds up for some of the guys in their 20's or whatever but for me........no dice.

As you know you gotta have a sprinkle of luck in the playoffs, throughout the history of the playoffs it's always been a scenario in which the team met that moment of luck. Say what you want about Ron, call it luck or what ever but that's why Dr.Buss paid for him..........to give us another weapon in the playoffs.

Bottom line is this, we won this title not with offense but with the thing that has been our strength all year.........killing the boards. We were the number 1 rebounding team in the league and number 1 in defensive 3pt field goal percentage. Those two areas is what you need to cut off from most teams and we did that.

I don't think 30 plus years of following a team sums it up to knowing nothing.....not for me, I've seen too many Laker teams take the floor.

He's not talking about the real Lakers fans. He's talking about the "fans" that just love Kobe, and think Kobe is better thaan Jordan. etc. etc. The type of fans that go to the opponent's board and laugh in their face after a loss. REAL Lakers fans are not like that.
