No more I miss Ariza threads right? and Trade Bynum 4 Bosh?

Artest was the best player in game 7, he was so clutch in the biggest game of Laker history imo. Bynum so much heart it was ridiculous, he contributed against a great Celtic team, I love Artest and Bynum, no question Bynum should be a Laker next year, he is a great compliment to Gasol.

I actually wore my Trevor Ariza jersey tonight. I went to the mall this morning looking to buy a Ron Artest jersey, but unfortunately they only had the white Sunday jerseys. I ended up passing on it and figured I'd wear Trevors because everyone and their mother wears Kobe.

Looking back at it now, I really wish I bought that Artest jersey haha.

Heck yeah, Trev made up his mind...........now tonight he sees how wrong he was. Look I get the gist of the business side of ball, but he made his move. It's over for him as far as winning big.

Usually when a guy wins a ring or 2, then bolts for a free agency, I wish him the best and hope for a good replacement. They got their ring, and they have a chance to get overpaid (see: Derek Fisher). I don't blame them.

Trevor (and his agent) screwed this one up. Big time.

His loss.

This is three finals in a row that Bynum has been <100%. We need him healthy next year because every **** will be wanting our blood.

Trade Artest for Ariza and Battier.

Sign Shaq to play C

Get Bosh to come to LA in a back loaded deal MLE year 1, 12 mil per after that

Trade Sasha + expiring for Hinrich

I'm not going to stop GMing this team until it can beat the Redeem team!!!

We need to bring in new blood. I'd like a slashing wing (Ariza-type) and a penetrating PG who can play D for the bench. And a 4th big guy would be nice.

I love Artest and once he becomes comfortable in the triangle he could be absolutely amazing top 10 talent in the league.

But Artest has a pattern every forth year he does something really bad.

There was a thread on the general board... what could stop the Lakers dynasty.

My answer
1) Injury
2) Artest
3) A new super power created this off season

It would break my heart if he left but Artest is getting to go nuts next year. Either way it will be entertaining.

I'm not necessarily opposed to it, but it's a big middle finger to Bynum if we trade him after he played hurt to help us win.

True, very true. Nonetheless its a business, and winning championships is the goal, having Bosh increases our chances substantially of winning.

Kobe wouldn't have to exert nearly as much effort in the regular season for us to win if we had Bosh, this is simply a fact.

I've never missed Trevor at all. He made his decision, and that was to cash out. Just like Buss gave Odom little patience, Ariza gave us none and completely burned his bridges. For that, I say good riddance.

Artest may not have been a shiny toy all year, but he was a Laker and you should have all appreciated him.

Bynum may be brittle, but he sucked it up and grinded out 2 months of playoff basketball until Phil had no other choice but to bench him.

These are the guys who went to war for this team and not a paycheck. It's just too bad it took 9 months for so many people to realize this.

Everyone on this board has to live with the fact that at least 6 of the Lakers 8 man playoff rotation will be back Fisher, Kobe, Artest, Pau, Bynum, and Odom. Farmar is gone unless the Lakers can't find another PG in the summer. Shannon I think its 50/50 he'll opt out I personally can't see him opting out because his numbers have been down since the good first half of the season he had. Everyone should just stop with the Bosh rumors its not happening.
