I really think what Cleveland offers in this deal fits incredibly well with the TWolves. I also see that its not quite enough.

The Timberwolves are clearly giving up more talent, but its redundent talent. Looking at just the Wolves before and after this deal I think its a lot closer to even than most are suggesting (largely because Andy seems to be undervalued because he doesn't fill up a box score - the reference to him as a 'flopper' in particular demonstrates that his game isn't fully understood). Considering the financial benefit and factoring Rubio in I think it can improve the Wolves.

Does something in my post lead you to believe I'm trying to talk anyone into the deal? What I'm saying is that I believe (all things considered) it makes the Timberwolves better, but it isn't maximizing the value of their assets so they could be even better doing something else.
...which is why the Wolves turn the deal down.

I hate to be negative as value is somewhat relative, but this is awful. I don't know if I would give up #16 for all 3 of those players. I like West and Parker, but they're nice backups at best. Redundant talent is still better than a lack of.

I can't imagine what you must be thinking to come up with or defend this deal. I don't think MIN should even give up cap space for those players, for free.

Sessions> West. MIN should be waiving West for $$. However, MIN used to have that $$. They spent it on Sessions. Ergo, Sessions > Raw Cap Space > West.

#16 (Wing)>>> Parker. Parker is old. The wing is young, and likely to be as good/better.

Also, no one sells #16 pick, at their very stupidest, MIN would sell the #23. But they won't sell the #23, because it's likely to be good. CLE should be aiming at like... #26-#30.
