They can't talk to Bosh but they could talk to Colangelo about the framework for a potential Bosh deal. They can't get him unless we can agree to a deal, so it would make sense to negotiate with the Raptors before putting the full court press on signing Bosh/LeBron on July 1.

cavs can contact the Raptors and the Raptors can contact Bosh. The Cavs cannot go to Bosh though it has to be through the Raptors if you get what im trying to say. Basically Cleveland can talk to the Raptors about Bosh because Bosh is still a member of the team. They cannot talk to Bosh himself though...

If given a choice between letting CB4 walk for nothing, or doing a s&t to also dump bad contracts such as Jose, I would think BC would have to think about the s&t.

Of course I don't see Bosh agreeing to go to Cleveland so it's likely moot..

Maurice Williams $9,300,000

Thanks for posting the numbers Rapsobsessed, you're always informative in those ways.

Is it possible for a 3rd team to get involved to sweeten this package?

I know most ppl in this thread are like "GTFO it's not happening etc.." But, I merely asked what would be suitable in return.

So conceivably we could end up with Mo, Hickson, Anderson and a 1st rounder? I like the package. You get a scoring guard, a young player with upside (who teams are still high on) and a guy who made the All Defensive team who's offensive game is coming ALONG way each year.

People bash Mo's defence, but he still played on a team that won over 60 games the past two years and that counts for something.

eww, I hope not. As stated already, there's no interesting package there.

its very possible. In fact the consensus has been a Bosh deal will take 3 teams. Leo said it, same with BC that it might take a couple teams to get it done. However who wants Williams, Hickson, AJ for anything of significance that will appease the Raptors?

So Cleveland is simply doing their homework by spending a day calling the Raps and coming up with scenarios.

Raps should take a page a counter with offers for LeBron.

Short of taking both Calderon and Turkoglu along with Bosh, I don't really like what Cleveland has to offer.

Does Bryan want to see the entire Raptors fan base commit simultaneous suicide? If he pulls a deal with Cleveland for CB I'm gonna be sad :(

what about jamison? Only one year left on his deal and always good for 20/8. Bosh and Calderon for Jamison, Mo or Varejao and Hickson?

This is right there with getting Lee in return from NYK.

If Clev. and the Knicks are the 2 options, Id let Bosh walk for nothing IF he wants to go to either of those destinations.

would Bosh want to go to CLE with Hedo though..? Would Hedo be happy? The deal would be so big with Hedo and Joses TK that its unlikely to happen. Cleveland would need to send 29.2 million in salary to get the deal done.

That means

Mo
Hickson
Varejao
West
Gibson
Telfair

for

Bosh
Jose
Hedo

unless you take Jamisons next year at 15 million...

Yeah, they pretty much revolve around Lebron. Williams is open so often because of Lebron it isn't even funny.

Williams
Varajeo
West
Rights to Eyenga (who wouldn't come over this year)

Buy out West or re-trade him as an expiring.

That's about it.

As I have no confidence we will get anything of value for Bosh,
If we can take him along with something horrific like Hedo's contract and take back Mo Williams, Hickson, Varejao, Parker, Their Bought 1st, and 3m Cash I would consider it,

If Cleveland was Bosh's choice(which I highly doubt) I'd say let him walk. I do not care to help Cleveland win a championship by taking their useless players. I'd honestly rather have David Lee than any deal with Cleveland.

I wouldn't mind this deal if we got Varejao back. He'd a nice C fit.
