Having watched every sixers game the last 3 years, I want you to believe me when I say that the Sixers need a scorer more than anything(yes nore than a big).

Iguodala cant shoot, Turner can. If you want to say hes not a 3 point shooter thats fine, but not being a 3 point shooter doesnt mean you cannt score. Look at Rip Hamilton. I dont get this comparison being bad. If they are similar in anything, its on putting up assists, rebounds, and playing defense.

Turner has the potential to be better than Iguodala but IMO it would be better to draft a similar talented player in Favors at an actual position of need.

Phili needs a SG more than anything. They like Iggy at SF and prefer Thad at PF.

You are 100% correct Krapinsky as a matter of fact this is what Doug Collins said at his introductory press conference:

"To me when Andre [Iguodala] is a two and Thaddeus [Young] is a three, they are both out of position. To me Thaddeus [Young] is a four and Andre [Iguodala] is a three. Those two guys play very well together, they’ve won 41 games, they got out on the floor, they ran the open court and played to their strengths. I thought last year it just didn’t fit for them."

That tells me that they see Iggy as the starting SF and Brand isn't going anywhere. As of today the Sixers SG consists of Willie Green and Jodie Meeks. I don't see them passing on Turner.

I like both Turner and Rubio. But I don't see them a great fit in the backcourt together. How do the rest of you think that they would co-exist?

I originally felt they were a perfect fit, but I'm becoming more and more convinced that if the Rube is in uniform next season - Wes Johnson is a better fit.

Anyone thinking that Philly will pass on Turner or even think about trading him can look at this:

That's about as direct as it gets. No way they do anything other than take him now.
