I think Sarver's monetary behavior is more in line what is to come, rather than what was occurring NBA wise. Prepare yourself for a CBA lock out. The players are, especially the FA's. Its only logical many owners will do the same.

The Front Office was long due a payraise. Especially after the success they had this year. They deserve about 50% of the credit for hiring and finding budget players and doing the best the could with the remaining draft picks we had which weren't sold. Jerry Colangelo please come back.

What type of mentality is this ??? They 'deserve' a raise ??? Did the front office offer to take a pay cut for the prior non playoff revenue generating year ? I can see some bonuses spread around.... but this thought that if you have a good yr, then you deserve a raise ?

Compensating the front office staff after a winning season is common practice in both the NBA and most sports teams. Its only fair that after increased revenue that they should see some of it. If a ceo of a financial firm told his brokers they wouldn't be making commission after a good quarter he would be ostracized.Why? Because hes going against the industry standard.

Whether some agree with it or not NBA owners usually share some of the increased revenue by giving the front office staff a raise after a successful season. The only difference was Sarver decided to refuse to share any if it. Kerr went up to bat for the staff and it was a losing effort. Anytime a captain of a ship refuses to share with with his crew(or screw the fans) the ship is doomed.

and bring back JC ??.... Christ... his flakey sell out efforts put this team's future in a hole... He found what he thought was a patsy in RSarver and sold out.... then he and his vastly overated son got a hold of Starver's check book and spent like little girls in a shoe shop. D'Ant followed with a few more unwise purchases/advice, and Kerr was left to clean up the mess. Starver was left with a sore arse and wondering what the heck did those guys do that he couldn't.

I agree with you the Colangelo's are both overrated as can be. Jerry was a terrible owner abd Bryan Colangelo was an absolute joke of a GM. But still, two wrongs don't make a right. The main difference is, Jerry's heart seemed to be in the right place, Sarver seems like someone who is only worried about himself.
