I think the entire Lakers organization knows how critical bringing Phil back is. If the Lakers are going to go for the 3peat it wouldn't make sense to bring in a new coach. There could be some chemistry issues there. I don't know about you guys but I feel more comfortable with Phil being the Lakers coach next season than anyone else.

that's what is prolly going to have to happen. unless buss actualy pays him some money and hopefully he signs a 2yr deal.

I think that Buss will pay whatever it takes to get Phil back. This is why Magic is one of the greatest Lakers in history if not the greatest although I feel that Kobe will be the greatest when his career is over.

Phil keeps saying he wants a full examination from his doctor before he commits to next season, you've all seen him walk and sit, the man is in a ton of pain, I don't think Kobe, Buck, Gennie, or any other Buss will have as much impact as what his doctor says..

Otherwise, No one would walk away with a chance at a Threepeat...!
