I think it would be a huge mistake to take Wes over Cousins, he just has so much superstar potential, there is no upside to passing on him.

So we're not supposed to draft him (what with his not working out for us), but if we pass on him he's gonna score 50 on us. :-?

So just cuz he gets media attention means he's good?

So theres going to be 4 Lottery teams that he TRIES to score 50 on, but will only be on the court 20 minutes due to foul trouble. Whats that adjusted to minutes played - 12-15 points? Is this insinuating that in every other game he is not going to try as hard?

It's a figure of speech.

I am scared to pass on the guy, but keeping him means a complete roster overhaul in the front court.. If we are indeed trying to be a running team built for rubio, we can afford 1 guy (cousins) to be half court guy, but both love and jefferson need to be moved and replaced with Favors, Darko and Randolph (as an example). Then we will continue to ignore our wing positions in the process.

Jefferson for prince #7
Love + 16 for Randolph #6 (not enough value just an example)
#6, #7, Gomes for #3

Cousins - Darko
Favors - Randolph
Prince - Randolph - #23
Brewer- Ellington
Flynn - Sessions

No, because he dominates and is only 19 years old (will probably grow still).

As much as I hate Rubechat's trolls and tourette threads, they still post relevant links like this tweet from Chad Ford.

There's going to be a lot of pressure on Favors on the 21st in NJ. He's looked pretty raw in last 3 workouts.

-Cousins and Favors went head-to-head in Philly today. Once again, Cousins looked great. But you expect that. Cousins more polished rt now.

I've read from a few other sites that noticed the same thing, I can't seem to find those sources now.

Wouldn't it be crazy if NJ took Cousins? It would completely throw everything for a loop. It would also make it much, much easier for us to pick up both Favors and Johnson (we take Favors at 4 and either trade Jefferson to Sac, GS, or Det for Johnson).
