Udoh, Aldrich, Davis, Monroe, and Whiteside were invited in.

Edit: Confirmed that a Ekpe Udoh will attend a second workout in Sac on Saturday.

Oh good. I'm not too happy with the though of Udoh, thanks to his age and some of his playing characteristics, but we need all the bruisers we can get to wipe the floor with Monroe.

Don't entirely agree. Whiteside and Udoh are both longer and very good defenders.

And extremely less skilled as well. I think Monroe is the smartest and most skilled of the bunch and has adequate size and length to hold his own and likely dominant the competition on Saturday.

Monroe fell apart in big games last year... There is a reason his agent didn't want him playing other bigs. He may be skilled offensively, but against long, athletic guys like Udoh and Whiteside, I'm convinced it'll be bad for him. Then lets see him try to defend them.

That's probably the entire reason for bringing him in for a 2nd workout. If he can't dominate lesser prospects (and put a rest to all the questions about his athleticism, drive, etc.) then I'd say there's no chance the Kings take him over Cousins if both are available.

I'd actually be surprised if they traded JT quite frankly. He's not undersized (like Landry), he can play both frontcourt positions, and he's a rebounding machine--something the Kings have always had trouble with. Most importantly: he's signed for cheap for 2 more years as opposed to Landry's 1 more year.

Nah, the Kings are going wait and see what he does in his contract year. I wouldn't be surprised if by this time next year Landry at 10 million a year looks like a bargain.

It all comes back to a visual aspect. Whatever Monroe does is going to look 10X prettier. Afterall mix up the letters in Petrie and you get Pertie. Hence my proof that Monroe is the pick at 5. It's all in the letters.

If that's the case you trade him. Landry's deficiencies tell me he shouldn't be paid much more than $5-7mil a year over the course of a contract.

Paying him more than $10mil per would be a killer for this franchise.

that's what you used to get when you mixed up the letters in Petrie now it spells TOUGHNESS. Can't see Monroe being the guy Its the opposite of every move he's recently made.

Monroe is tweeting that he's on a plane. Weird he would come in with no real rest. Assumed they would all be in this morning, not night.

Just look around the league and see what some other 20 ppg type scorers are making these days. I think Landry has an excellent chance of becoming a legit 20 and 7.5 type of player next year. He's here for his iso scoring deep in the paint and on the perimeter, in those areas he's very, very capable.

Thought the workout would start earlier, 1 PM start time so maybe getting in early not as big a concern.

Yes we will see! Our site through various channels should have no less than 4 angels on this so should have a decent picture by the end of the day/tomorrow.

Very early words:
David Falk is unsure of Greg's spot, trying to get him into competitive workouts in the top ten b/c no lock.
Zoubek was there as just kind of a bully on everyone, tested how physical guys were willing to go.
No one differentiated themselves too much, no one dominant player all performed well.

My take: Means they're taking Cousins.
