JDP, I used to live in Repulse Bay on HK southside 20 years ago. Still have lots of friends back there-HKIS.

I would like to get Ainge back here in the valley, but could be difficult, he has had a lot of success in Boston. 1 championship, 1 finals, 1 eastern Conference Finals, over the last few years. He may want to come back to the valley for a little quieter pace of life and to be closer to his family, but from a winning standpoint, Boston may be the place to be, unless he really feels he has his finger on the pulse of some good rebuilding moves that will put us over the top of the LakeShow

Boston doesn't have too much left, they're going to have to go through a rebuild also. Not sure that the situation is as great as it is. Who knows.

Currently living in Kowloon City.
Always nice to know someone lived here in Hong Kong before. :D

And pidi, I implied early in the thread stating that I don't believe in whatever they're saying. The crazy Chinese Yao Ming fans, on the other hand, believe in every rumor that will somehow benefit the Houston Rockets. So yes, they're kind of gay.
Oh and none of us would cry over a trade of Samuel Delambert to the Kings. They would, saying crazy stuff like "Houston lost a great opportunity to trade for an all-star. AWWWWWWWWWWW :( ". (Yes, they're actually suggesting that Samuel Delambert is an all-star)

There is no problem with posting rumors. It's just whether if you're crazy enough to believe every single one of them.

Btw, I highly doubt the idea of having Ainge return to Phoenix coming true. As much as I like to see it happen, I don't really see it happening (not this summer for least).

Before he landed Allen & Garnett he really didn't have much front office success. In fact many C's fans wanted him fired.

That being said He's always been a really smart basketball guy and He seems to have learned from his mistakes. And really if you look at a lot of the moves considered "bad moves" in retrospect they ultimately did help to put the team in a position to make the moves for Garnett and Allen.

Who knows where the Celtics would be if Seattle and Minny didn't decide to move their Superstars in the Prime(ish) of their careers, or where Ainge would be for that matter.

Regardless I'd be thrilled if we landed an experienced GM like Ainge or Pritchard.
