Reddick provides the same thing Miller does at a position of need so basically either of these would be welcome additions.

We can rotate the same way with Artest/Kobe/Reddick like we do with Miller.

please, Miller is far from a "spot up shooter" guy has avg. 4asst/4reb his entire career....and who gives an F bout Vujabrick.....and I think Miller will accept less then full MLE something like 3yrs for 10-12 mill would work for him, use remaining money to sign a PG or trade that turd aka Machine/cash or 2nd rd pick for a 1st this year.

how you gona get Reddick? He is RFA, I'm sure Orl will match MLE offer easily, especially with Barnes opting out and Carter playoff performance in the ECF was far from desirable.

Yeah more than MLE will be overpaying for him but they will pay that.

Reddick would be a great fall-back option. Seems like he's really starting to figure out the pro game. Unlike his former collegiate rival, Adam Morrison.

That said, even though he's younger, I'd still take Miller if given a choice between the two. Despite his improvement Reddick has never been more than a specialist. Miller, on the other hand, has been a very solid starter in this league for a number of years.

I'd give him the full MLE in a heartbeat, without a single second thought. There isn't a player out there we could sign that would be a better value or fit. His best attribute directly fills probably our biggest weakness.

he already said he wants to play for a winner...I think he would be OK with taking less than MLE

Point Guard - Fisher/Brown
Shooting Guard - Kobe/Miller
Small Foward - Artest/Miller
Power Foward - Gasol/Odom
Center - Bynum/Gasol

We'd never have to see Farmar, Vujacic, Walton play anymore. That's great news.
If we need a point guard then we can use Vujacic's expiring at the trade deadline to get one.

Sounds pretty ideal...

The thing the scares me is that the Lakers seem to have a problem with 3pt specialists coming here and building brick smoke-houses on the court...

Rice, Sasha, Radman, Ammo, just off the top of my head...

Wouldn't it suck if we brought him in and he forgot how to shoot....
Never have rice at Hanzo's house...

I'd offer him two million for however many years he wants ...

I'd settle on 3.5 mill over three years. If he demands four million, I'd give him that but for only two years.

Anything over four mill, two years, Buss won't cosign.

I know Morrison is coming off the books but the way I see it the Lakers will continue to be in cost cutting mode. That means no MLE.

Anyone who signs with us will sign FAR below market value.

Note: If Mike Miller comes here for 3.5 mill over three years, I sign the best post feeding/defensive PG in free agency (ie. Shaun Livingston-if he can still guard PGs, Mardy Collins, etc.)

I hate when people say, "I hope Mitch realizes this" or "I hope Mitch doesn't **** this up" - He knows all this before it hits the news/airwaves. He knows how much Buss will spend, he knows who the coaching staff wants, he has some of the best players in NBA history on the Team and on the Staff/Management. They're not stupid as we have obviously seen. If he can get it done, he will. If not - oh well, we move on to the next person.

For all I remember Radmanovic shot 40% from 3 in each season with us and Fish has not been bad either. Neither Sasha or farmar started out as good shooters but they shot career highs with us too.

Rice wasn't bad, either, he just wasn't a good fit for our system.

I guess it's more of when they missed that I remember most... Not so much the Percentage.

Sasha is the only one who ever came through for us when we needed him. :-?

But I like Miller... He's scary good when I've seen him and if he could play a Ray Allen kind of role for us even off the bench, that would be pretty devastating.
Never have rice at Hanzo's house...
