How else do you interpret "not a fan of". ESPN article never mentioned Sacramento.

I know he didnt workout for GS/MN but perhaps after his workout with the Kings he left unimpressed.

It could be an inference. That is, he wants to play in Detroit but why not Sacramento--therefore he doesn't like Sacramento.

Again, given the information we have out there it's hard to believe he'd work out for the Kings and then decide he doesn't want to play there.

With what exactly? It was a WORKOUT. He was the one putting on a show for the Kings, not the other way around.

A source close to DeMarcus Cousins indicates his preference is to land in Detroit. Feeling is mutual. Not a fan of Sacramento apparently.

maybe he wants to be the number 1 center on the team. maybe he likes the kings then, but after the sammy trade he change his mind, he knows that sammy is solid center on this league and he will be the 2nd option. ????????????

Doubt it. Dalembert I don't think would be much competition for Cousins, and he'd be taking less money on a team quickly going nowhere, and in a city that I don't see as any better than Sacramento. Again, we'll see I guess.

monroe is good consolation as a 2nd option, IF cousins isn't available at #5. I still believe that cousins is gone before the kings pick, nets might pick him, timberwolves might pick him. nobody knows!

Alright world I am back from my weekend of quads, booze, and strippers!!!

After reading the last couple of pages I can summize this:

The kings still have Cousins, Monroe, Udoh, and Whiteside "in the mix"

After reading various other sites the word is the Rockets and Pistons are trying to move to #4 to pick up Cousins..

My take: Kings like Cousins and will pick him without hesitation if he is their at 5. However, it makes perfect since to keep claiming that they may take Monroe especially if they know how much a team such as the Jazz like him. The Monroe smoke might force the Jazz into offering a trade that would be really benificial to the Kings in order to get Monroe. The Jazz scenerio is much more real if HOU or DET are succesful in their attempts to move up. Kings could then use the Jazz pick to get Whiteside who has seemed to impress at his 2 workouts plus added sweetner.

If Cousins goes top 4 Petrie is absolutely making a mistake if he passes on Johnson. Monroe will be a good player and to be honest it wouldn't shock me to see him end up better than Favors or Cousins but too risky when weighing potential vs. potential.

Luke Harangody works out for the Kings tomorrow! Whoever nabs him in the 2nd or beyond gets a freaking steal.
