I don't get the fuzz about this one. The Brazilians do it themselves all the time. Kaka clearly planted his elbow in the guy's chest. Ref could have given him a direct red even.

I didn't know a person chest is connected to your jaw and mouth... He it almost has if he got hit by Manny Pacquiao.

2002 World Cup. Brazil .vs. Turkey.

Horrible. And terrible decision by the Korean referee. Players seem to be able to block and shake off a blazing free kick to the legs, but a simple pass like has Rivaldo rolling on the pitch in excruciating pain? Horrible.

Yeah, the reaction is over the top. I guess it comes with the territory. I don't like it either but I understand the mechanism. Don't fall to the ground and the referee won't act on it, like for example with David Villa's slap to the face of a Honduras defender. But I've heard many commentators say that it was nothing and an unfair card and I think that's biased probably because of Kaka's stardom. It was a stupid foul imo.

i am more surprised by the fact assistant ref didn't say anything even though it happened right in front of him.

Probably the Honduras one, the guy took like 7 seconds to fall down, like he was fainting or something.

I think Ghana might have taken the cake today. They had two flops in extra time where noone touched a guy or was within 5 feet of the guy, one of which got a penalty and both of which rewuired a stretcher. LOL.

The stretcher crew was in full force today for Ghana. I think they used it 4-5 times...
