I still think there is alot of bad blood between Kahn, Woj, and Indiana over Indy leaking the Al for Granger offer last winter. In other words Woj is not getting anything at all out of Kahn and is pissed about it.

So my theory is that Kahn leaked Indy's offer of 10 for Flynn to their beat writer today after negotiations for Granger went nowhere, and Woj practiced horrible journalism by publishing only a portion of our offer for Granger and omitting that Granger was involved in the offer.

I don't know what went on while Kahn was in Indy, maybe there is bad blood there. Although personnel wise we are good trading partners, I don't know how both teams are going to think they got a fair shake, especially with guys like granger involved.
Flynn+4 for Granger+10 is a pretty fair deal, allows Indy to rebuild with Flynn+Cousins.

If Kahn thinks he can get a starting caliber wing at 10, and he shot down flynn for 10 without a second thought, he's either got a better deal already worked out to get into that range or he is an utter fool who is overly enamored with a guy he drafted because he is one of "his guys".

I have a very hard time seeing Flynn going earlier than 10 in this draft.

Woj and Kahn have an on-going feud since like December. Woj tried to break a rumor, I believe the Granger/Jefferson bit, and Kahn felt betrayed by Woj. Since then the Wolves have pretty much refused to even talk to Woj. It's quite obvious since then that Woj takes nothing but shots at the Wolves, especially Kahn.

If Kahn pulled off Flynn, 16 and 23 for Granger and 10 I'd be amazed and it would be a steal for the Wolves who could then grab Cousins or Favors at 4 and Henry or George at 10 or potentially package 4 and 10 to move up to get Turner if they really love him.

I know but figured it was worth mentioning, if Woj's report has any truth to it Granger would seemingly be the only "package" item that would seem to fit the package the Wolves seemingly offered. If the Wolves turned down Flynn for 10 I don't know what else would make the Pacers turn down Flynn, 16 and 23 for 10 and something.

We'd almost have to be taking on a bad contract in addition to Granger and 10 in a deal like that. So you'd probably have to include at a Gomes for Ford swap at least (I didn't bother matching salary exactly, because I don't see this happening).

Well all of their bad contracts aren't that bad, they are expiring so that'd be fine with me. It'd be really nice to get #10 with Granger(not gonna happen I'm sure).

Kahn was asked by my buddy when the last time the Wolves had talked to Indiana was. He said it was a week ago when when Indiana offered #10 for Flynn and were soundly rejected. Kahn wasn't even the one who talked to them (my guess is Ronzone.)

So, Adrian W. over Yahoo is full of a boat load of feces, and I think we can pretty much dismiss anything he writes going forward.

We can also probably stop dreaming up Danny Granger trade scenarios.

This news just broke about 20 minutes ago that the Indiana Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder are in serious conversations about a trade that would send Eric Maynor, the 18th pick, and the 21st pick to the Indiana Pacers for the 10th overall pick in the NBA Draft.

looks like #10 might be off the list of possible trades.
