Might explain the potential #16 for two late 1st rd picks.
One of these (or maybe two, including the #23) would be included to sate the Nets.

Kahn shouldn't be this dumb though. Obviously he can call the bluff of NJ, as the Nets would clearly want Favors in their lineup over Wes Johnson.

Or would they? Who wins the poker match? Looking forward to finding out.

I'm getting the impression we're not done making a push for Turner...

Theory: Putting things together, it may be that NJ is screwing with us because they know we're trying to fix our #4 selection for Philly, plus, acquire another top 10 pick to ice the deal. If things go right, we leap-frog NJ and won't have to barter at all with them unless they figure out who Philly wants ... saves us from wasting an asset, but I don't think NJ likes MN and Philly lobbing deals over their head.
Flip response to Love wanting out, "He has no reason to be upset, you're either a part of the problem or a part of the solution"

A possibility could be that we may package Sessions + later pick(s) for the Pacers 10th?

All these reports are telling me more about the quality of our media than they are about the thinking of the various front offices.

I'm imagining Kahn pretending to look behind couches and under tables to see if he can find what they are talking about.

Meanwhile, over on the Sixers board, I think they've fallen more head over heels for Turner than even we ever were. They're currently discussing whether or not they would accept an offer of:

Love, 4, 10 for 2.

And many of them say no.

Starts about 2/3rds down page 1, I set them in their place on page 7.

Wow, and people think we're a bunch of homers. I wouldn't do love+4 for 2 and probably not 4+10 for 2.

Now they are saying they would do it if we included Rubio instead of Love, these guys ARE bigger homers than we are. First off, I'm not sure Kahn would trade Rubio for 2 straight up, second, considering on how nuts they all are for Holiday, why are they now valuing Rubio so much?

Just ignore it. Every year a team falls in love with a prospect and every year the fans overrate the value
