Maggette traded to Bucks.

Gs trades Corey Maggette to Milwaukee for Dan Gadzuric and Charlie Bell.

Nice salary dump, could work for both teams.

Gadzuric 1 yr, $7,248,325
Charlie Bell 2yrs, $3,851,440 $4,099,920
Maggette 3 yrs, $9,600,000 $10,262,069 $10,924,138

Milwaukee saves 1.5 million in 2010
GS saves 6.1 million in 2011 and 10.9 million in 2012.

Does this change GS's draft plans? Do they go SF at 6 now? Aminu?
Surely they'd take Wes there.

Milwaukee probably goes big at 15 now, likely a PF.

Didn't see that one coming although I'm not entirely shocked. I read the Bucks forum and Milwaukee fans don't seem too enthusiastic about the trade. Be nice to sign John Salmons if we were actually contenders, but I want to see who NJ drafts first before considering signing a 30 year old veteran.

Patrick Patterson would seem to be a nice fit for them at 15 if he's still available, that might increase the likely hood of George falling to 16.

Good for us. Makes me think Aminu goes 6, but more importantly Bucks are going big at 15 which increases odds of X.Henry or P.George falling.

I think both henry and george are gone by 12 regardless. Aminu slipping to 8 would push another SF down.

I'm really glad we weren't the ones trading for Maggette (although I'd much prefer him to Deng).
They got him for basically nothing, but still a risk for Milwaukee with his injury history and defensive allergies.

LOL! Hooray for Kahn! What do you think now, Woj?!?"

But which will be more frustrating? The GSW back-pedaling about how valuable their 20 PPG Maggette was, or how Dan Gadzuric is now a superstar because old rem saw him play a good game in 1996?

Yep, if DX is on the ball, Henry is going to New Orleans, George is going to Memphis, and Hayward would be the one to drop.

Aminu canceled his workout with Detroit. Some are saying its cuz hed rather go to the Clips but perhaps GSW has him on their horizon.

Bucks also got the #44 pick. They could probably sell it for $1.5M to help pay for Maggette's deal.

Awesome deal for Golden State. Maggette is obviously Good, but saving $15 million is Great.

Would this have any ramifications on a potential Anthony Randolph deal?

Don't think so. This deal seems to be to save money for the sale.

According to a bucks fan friend there is some talk in their world of shipping magette our way for jefferson plus a pick switch. I would hope not.

From everything I've read it sounds like Golden State is pretty set on taking Cousins or Monroe

Very wishful thinking on their part

As expected, Maggette couldn't bring back expirings.
