I'm kinda hoping Mayhew pursues Merriman. I think he could make a good transition to a 4-3 linebacker and it would be awesome to see lights out and louis demissle on the same team.

I don't think the Lions re-signed Will Heller because they thought he would make a nice #4 or #5 TE. He was a much better receiving threat for us last year than anyone anticipated. And showed good chemistry with Stafford out there.

Madsen could compete with Dan Gronkowski for special teams/practice squad.... but it would take alot for him to make the team. And that wouldn't be good.

Very true on all accounts. I think they're hoping Gronk or Madsen beats out Heller--they'll be given the opportunity.

Apparently, OJ Atogwe really doesn't want to re-sign with the Rams. He could become a FA and Detroit is one of the teams that is predicted as a landing spot.

I know he's not the OJ of old, but he's still a solid S and would work well with Delmas. Depending on money... I think he could end up a Lion (along with a handful of other teams).

Well Atogwe is going to visit Seattle and Bullocks basically says that he doesn't want to come to Detroit unless it's his last option to play football.

Unless there's a trade... I think we're pretty set with what we have going into this season.

Bullocks said that he would like to play in Detroit but it's a last resort if he can't get signed by a super bowl contender.

Well the way you wrote it it sounded like you were saying Bullocks was saying that Atogwe didn't want to play here. That is NOT a misspelling, it's flat out the wrong football player. It's not even the same name cause "Bulluck" and "Bullocks" are not even homonyms or homophones in that they don't even sound the same, you can't claim a spelling mistake when you say something that doesn't sound the same as the word you were trying. i.e. if you mean to say Stafford and you accidentally say Stanton, then that's not a spelling mistake either, oh so it's just a 4 letter spelling mistake plus forgetting the extra letter? It doesn't work that way. You have me googling the net trying to find out why and how our safety knows this guy and has inside info and then you in acknowledging your mistake you include a smug remark like it's not big deal. Are you the CEO of BP? Cause you share similar behavior to him when it comes to being the fool that causes a mess to begin with and then just doesn't care anymore about who it may affect. You just shouldn't report news and rumors when you don't know what you are doing or saying, try to be more careful please.

TSE,

He made a spelling error. I dont think any harm was meant. And you dont need to write a paragraph rant about it, doing this puts you more in the wrong. It distracts from the thread and forces users (and me) to have to react to you instead of actual football content. 2 things from the TOS you just violated writing out that rant.

I don't accept the notion that it was a spelling error. I appreciate your other comments, but you still can't go around stating things as they are not without expecting a rebuttal on said point.

I don't care what you accept. Maybe if you have been following along with the free agents rumored to be coming to the team, especially in the free agent thread, you wouldn't have thought that a player alreayd on our team would reject coming here unless it's his last option.

Gee, I spelled Bullocks instead of Bulluck.... big, insurmountable difference. Admittedly, it keeps me up at night knowing that I confused you about such an important matter that obviously means so much to you.

Doesn't mean much to me at all, you have made an incorrect assumption.
