Yeah, I'm quite depressed by today's sudden turn of events.

It's closing in on 10 hours. I can't imagine what they felt like waking up this morning.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread (Netsforce Waived)
I'm going to say this... That was some classless annoying ass **** Ghana was pulling as the game was winding down, falling down with no one around them (that one dude who was carted off on the stretched immediately got up and walked to the bench once he was off the field), come on...
They were the better team though. Prince Bangabut or whatever really impressed me... For Team USA...
Good run but you put yourself in this hole with an odd starting rotation, and more careless defensive plays.
On a side note I don't think there's one player on Team USA that I felt comfortable calling a finisher. They need to upgrade their strikers (I know easier said than done)...

Re: Random Thoughts Thread (Netsforce Waived)
Happens all the time unfortunately. Especially at this stage, the stakes are so high, and if you're an underdog you do everything you can. Dont think for a second that US players would be acting any different if it was them up by a goal and Ghana pressing for an equalizer.
Everyone hates this part of the game. Soccer can really do with some modernization of the game with video replays being items 1 through 10 on the to do list. They discuss (Please Use More Appropriate Word) ideas about making the goal bigger or doing away with the off-side rule when this game needs some very basic and subtle rule changes. Video replays and harsh punishment/bans for cheaters. The added time system is very flawed as well which is why its totally worth doing what those Ghana players were doing. In the 1st OT, 1 guy layed on the grass for 1 minute till they got the cart for him and there were other stoppages but the ref only added 1 minute total. I'm not saying to turn it to how MLS had it with pure silliness like a freaking buzzer, but they need to stop this bs, in all fairness many games should have in excess of 10 added minutes, but the standard is 3 to 4.

D'Antoni should be Murdock, with Donnie as Hannibal. It's still classic, though.

I love how the Knicks board went from "Oh, man, we love Chris Bosh, David Lee isn't THAT good" to "How is Chris Bosh better than David Lee?"

I love how Knicks fans are claiming that: Landry Fields > Gordan Hayward

Re: Random Thoughts Thread (Netsforce Waived)
Anybody know of any great deli's?
I mean really great, not just good.
Those one's you'll go out of your way to get to because they're so good.
Two I would nominate would be M&H Deli in Union and Florham Park Deli, in, well, Florham Park.
As something of a sandwich junkie, I'm always looking for the next fix though and was wondering where you go?

You want a deli or just a sandwich? I know of a few places that are just sandwich shops, not delis.
