The #32 has value too, but the reason I brought this here was to show just how valuable cap space may be this summer.

MIN may have $15 mil in cap space

The Heat are another team potentially looking to deal their mid-round pick.

This is a straight cap-space deal. They, like the Bulls, are trying to clear out cap space so they can potentially sign Dwyane Wade and TWO max contracts.

Michael Beasley is also being dangled in a draft-day deal—you want our No. 18, take this problem child off our hands.

Apparently, no one wanted Beasley.

The trade exception they held to absorb Cook, along with the 2nd pick in the 2nd round (which carries no cap hold) were the keys to this deal. Presti strikes again.

We still have Gomes to offer them, if they can't get a team to take Beasley for cap space. Maybe even get the pick toronto owes them in the process.

Plus, if they took their egos to the side imagine how nasty a Wade and LBJ defense would be...Lebron could probably average close to a triple double if he didn't have to put so much energy out on offense.

OKC buys our #32 and then takes on salary to jump to #18. If they parlay that pick with other assets to get into the top ten I will be pissed. The bottom line is that Kahn f'ed that up. There was no need to rush out and trade that pick when he did.
