If the trade does go down . . . hopefully something is in place that moves one of our other mediocre wings with one of our ugly contracts.

Too many wings? Really?

You're insinuating that there are plenty of takers for Hedo's services? I honestly think we'll be stuck with him for another season. Yeah, sure he had a great playoff run in '09 but he's got baggage now.

Do we really believe Bradley will fall to 22? Rudy is not a starter and has not shown he can be an everyday starter. If Orton is there at 22 Raps should consider it no doubt, but don't be too fast to pull the trigger.

you do know between SG and SF theres 96 minutes to go around, right? Man i swear some people on this board are CLUELESS.

I guess Rudy also demands the ball, and effective when he has the ball.
Which means, when he plays with Roy, he doesn't get the ball, and he doesn't like it that way.

I think he will play PG, and not SF.
The question is, can he defend PG/SG.

So BC picks PP at 13 and then hopes his man is on the board at 22?

It doesn't work straight up because we can't just take on Rudy's contract. Unless it happens July 1st, and Rudy + #22's salaries = #13's salary. I don't feel like looking though. It'd have to be Marco + 13 for Rudy and 22.

I'd do it. One of Bradley or Bledsoe will be there at 22.

I think there are plenty of takers, it just the matter of what they want to return to us.

depends really on a couple things.

1) Indiana moving down and OKC moving up (#18 + for #10)
2) Memphis/Minnesota doing a #16 for #25 for #28 swap

obviously the deal hasnt happened for a reason. Someone doesnt like it or wants to wait. So other than that no teams really need Bradley.

me thinks that bc is trying to show he is active, but really he has no options to vastly improve the team.

This would only work make sense if he got chicago`s or boston pick. And hope bradley or bledsoe was there. then take Alabi at 22.

Wow. Raptor fans are just stupid. Everyone wanted to trade the #9 (DD) for Rudy a year ago. He starts complaining a bit and now he's no better than Marco.

Rudy is ****ing awesome. He wants out of Portland because on that team, he's relegated to being a 3-pt specialist. On this team, we would put the ball in his hands, and he would be our best perimeter scorer. If we can get Bradley/Bledsoe at #22 (and from all the mock drafts, it seems like we can), then I say why the hell not.

JJ, DD, Rudy, and Avery would make an awesome and versatile backcourt, and Marco is an excellent fifth guard.

Those two combine for 48 minutes a night, tops. I think there's room for minutes.

None of those guys are capable of playing significant minutes at the 3. The bigger SFs would eat them alive. Playing them there would add to the existing defensive issues with the frontcourt.

Plus there's no reason to hold DeRozan's minutes back with Bosh gone.

Why can't he get enough pt in portland? Good players always get minutes. He could've played at the 1 or even spot minutes at the 3. Do you think you know better than the Blazers coaching staff?
Didn't we say the same thing about Belinelli last year; that Nellie was misusing him? Nellie turned out to be right about him, didn't he?
And let's not forget about Rudy's irritating habit of bitching to the media constantly. We don't like it when Wright does it, or even when Turk does it halfway around the world. This board would rip him apart. And let's not forget, if he's not happy,he bolts to Europe and we lose an asset.
If we want him this bad, trade Marco for him. If not, screw him and screw Pritchard.
