I understand the upside that Hassan brings over Aldrich but you really would rather select Whiteside over Aldrich who could bring a real solid defender onto your team, as well as an extremely efficient player.

It's not that Aldrich would be a terrible pick, I just see him as a pure Center and nothing else.

We need a serious risk, and Whiteside's potential could be out ticket. It's roll the dice time.
