With the 13 rd pick we would at least get one of Aldrich/George/Bradley/Patterson. With the 22nd pick we would probably get none of them.

And last year they were pretty much the worse defensive team in the league. Now whats going to happen when Rudy is on board, Jack will then be dealt, Bosh and Wright likely gone, Hedo is almost unmovable, any resemblance of defense last year will be gone... Next season the Raptors are going to be the Indiana Pacers of Canada. The ACC might as well just put a red carpet down all the way to the basket.

Agree with whoever said it above: Enough of assembling random, questionable talent in the hopes of "turning it around". Start building a team that works as a cohesive unit. Of course, that requires a long-term plan and I've begun to lose faith in BC having one.

I think Colangelo may pull the trigger if Cole Aldrich is gone before 13. I can deal with the trade as long as Aldrich is gone before 13 (Belinelli should be packaged in another deal too). I guess Triano and BC finally get the three pointer gunner they've been searching for since last summer.

I don't understand the hate in this thread. There isn't a large drop off from 13 to 22. I'm pretty sure Bledsoe will be available, maybe Bradley and for sure one of Whiteside/Orton/Alabi. We get Rudy here as well who had a pretty good rookie year.

The problem with this deal is it's hard to pull the trigger without knowing who's available at 22, and we don't know who the Blazers want.

He is NOT a significant upgrade on the wings and is 25. I can`t see him as a future starter and would rather take a chance on whomever we get at 13 and hope he becomes a starter or at least a rotation player. I`d rather continue to develop DeRozan who is only 21 and Weems who is also younger than Fernandez. We need outside shooting yes, but not Fernandez.
