Best PG Prospect in the Draft!!!
gordon hayward! he used to be a guard. he's smart. he can dribble. he's whiter than larry bird. and he could be on the board when the hometown pacers go up to bat. what's that you say? he can't guard opposing pgs? well, no bleeping kidding. but that goes both ways. Hayward for TREY o'er ya archaic ol' skool midget pg. zone defence yo. team defence yo. funnel to the big o' shotblocka extraordinaire my main man roy 'the blinker' hibbert! it's on wit our new pg of the FUTURE. ON.

Re: Best PG Prospect in the Draft!!!
drafting a local puts a lot of pressure on the player to perform early. I'd let him go elsewhere.

Nope. Seen the kid play since early high school and AAU ball, but he's definitely not a PG. He could bring the ball up the court a few times a night like Dunleavy, but he definitely can't handle the full-time pressure of ball handling or full court press.
It's simply not close to a realistic option. Hayward is a pure SG in the NBA in all likelihood. He's likely to be a step down from Rip Hamilton, but likely a very similar style of player. He plays well off the ball, and off the screens. He doesn't initiate offense, nor does he play as the focal point on offense.

yah - kinda jesting. i thought it was funny that the objections were that 10 is too high for him rather than that he wasn't a pg. you think he is a sg? i don't think anybody can decide on what position he is - i've heard sg, sf, & pf... thought i'd throw pg into the mix.
