Plus, we can use the 6th pick along with whoever we have left to make another solid trade or just use it for ourselves. KP is really doing an awesome job... The 6th AND Ellis? That would take a pretty huge package to get him. We're talking Greg Oden cell phone picture huge.

You seem very anxious to complain about KP.

Well considering the man cannot trade to saave his life... Yeah, I will complain. I get tired of al lthe smoke, it sure was great wasting Raef's contract. I am ready to see him get fired if he cannot deliver some sort of star to our team. I love hearing all of his great words "we love our team, we will be going to war with them." Oh, and I really love when he overrates people like Rudy. Rudy for any first round pick is awesome. If he cannot make a splash this time, he will never be the man to, we need to move on. I don't necessairly want to go in win now mode, but I do want to see some steps that KP is the man to GM our team and make necessary trades to when we do need to win now. So far he has not given me confidence in him.

Also, this is the quote for Ellis, DusterBuster.

The Warriors are talking to a number of teams about potential trades and it looks like the No. 6 pick in the draft is up for grabs. The cost, however is high. The Warriors want whoever takes the pick to take on the contract of Monta Ellis as part of the deal.

It sounds as if they don't want much, but rather, want to get rid of Ellis. Perhaps just expirings? I don't know, but it doesn't seem like they want to much.

In all fairness, the rumors and reports of us getting more draft picks and young players show KP deserves the complaining.

Maybe Ellis doesn't have as high a value as Warrior fans suggest if taking him on is considered the negative for getting the #6 pick. I'm not really a big Ellis fan, but I'd offer a decent amount for a package of Ellis and the 6th pick.

Anyone can make up a rumor or a report. So I should just post random rumors on the internet to give you a reason to complain about something.

How about Rudy, Miller, Dante, Pendy and #22 for Ellis and #6? Use #6 on Monroe and 34 on Torrance. Thoughts?

If he grabs 4 first rounders and uses them all, then yeah, it might. But seeing him start off by targeting Chris Paul, and get a dialogue going there seems to me like if he is getting extra picks, he's sending them elsewhere. I want a big move to happen also, but people on here can't on one hand say he has overrated his talent, but then expect that talent to bring back a star, because that then shows both they, AND the other GM are also over rating that talent. Or, everyone, including KP is rating it the same. Grabbing every rumor thrown out there as evidence that KP is a bad GM is extremely stupid, IMO. OH No! He could have EASILY had Ellis AND the #6 for Miller and Joel. KP sucks. Fire him.

Discussing the rumors is certainly fun. It's why I am on here. Criticizing someone for a failure to act on said rumor without having the slightest idea of what is going on seems dumb to me, and seems, as I mentioned, looking for any reason to criticize. EGame earlier today or yesterday was just sure that KP was being stubborn on the Paul front. Not knowing the offer, nothing. But if it was falling apart, it must have been stubborn KP with his youngins. Not N.O. backing off. Fire him!

With NO ownership wanting to save money the possibility of Paul is still there.

Yup, he has passed on. Rumors are he was going to come to Portland after his contract was up, but now that he has moved on to a better place, that is no more. Lets all mourn together.

Yes, because I am overrating Rudy completley. All I want is a first rounder for him, if we can get it. If not get a second rounder, I realize dude has nothing and is nothing. I am going to keep criticizing KP, until he is willing to make a trade for proven talent. Making the trade for Camby was nice, but that was out of necessity. Until I see him part ways with people like Rudy, Bayless, or heaven forbid King Batum, I have no faith in KP. I am not the only one who thinks this, by the way.

Random thought, can't imagine what we are targeting it with, but what if we are trying to get #10 from Indiana. They are interested in Bledsoe, but maybe 10 is too high. So they talk to OKC about Maynor, 18 and 21, figuring they can grab him at 18. So we leak Rudy and 22 for 13, with our interest being in Bledsoe. Scares Indy off a little on that deal, potentially? I can't see us at all having interest in Bledsoe, or many rookies, really, for where we are as a club.

New CP3 / Portland stuff from Woj in the past 20 minutes

When the possibility of the Portland Trail Blazers making a bid on Paul was brought to him, a source said, Paul’s reaction was simple: Why would I want to go there if they have to trade LaMarcus Aldridge(notes) or Brandon Roy(notes) to get me? I’d want to play with those players.

Portland has bordered on tampering with Paul for two years now, and it’s never been much of a secret within the Hornets’ organization that the Blazers have gone to great lengths to make Paul aware of how badly they want him. It didn’t go unnoticed when Blazers president Larry Miller – a former Nike executive who had dealings with Paul – cozied up to the Hornets star on New Orleans’ trips to the Rose Garden. It is what it is, but most agree the Blazers have been merciless in trying to get into Paul’s ear – and those around him – to convince him to create a stir and force his way out.
