Yeah, I don't get it. Horrible trade for them. This looks more like a favor/cock block.

They can't sign til the 8th anyway.

It's not just Rose and Noah. It's Deng, Rose, and Noah.

They may still move Deng for cap space though to sign a SG threat.

Makes no sense for the Wizards other than it's a declining contract. I'm ecstatic though. I'm just happy Kirk is off the Bulls. I hated him.

Pair Wall up with a high character veteran, change the team's demeanor by bringing in good guys who play the right way. Get a prospect too. I actually like that deal for the Wiz. Hinrich is overpaid for sure, but he's a good player.

Kinda frustrating to see the Bulls pull off that deal.

And take on that much money for just...a "veteran presence"? What? The only way this makes sense is if Washington turns around and trades him for somebody else.

Either way, moving Hinrich and the pick would push Chicago's space under the cap from $20 million to more than $30 million. That puts the Bulls on equal footing with the Miami Heat in pursuing not just one but two members of a free-agent class that is expected to include LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Carlos Boozer, Amare Stoudemire and Joe Johnson.

Don't we have room for two maxes too??? i don't get it

Do we have Derrick Rose & Joakim Noah?

get it? 2 max + rose and noah?

It just says the heat and bulls can sign two big FA's after this deal, last time i checked....we could also.

WTF are you talking about? They still don't have enough space to sign Two MAX FAs. Freeing up another $10M is nice, but that means they can add a second-teir player like maaaaaybe Boozer or Joe Johnson depending on the market. This is by no means devastating news for the Knicks hopes of grabbing LeBron or Bosh.

This gets them JJohnson and Boozer. If LBJ wants to come here, he will, and I believe this doesn't change anything.

I really hate being a Knick fan. Had we selected Brandon Jennings it wouldn't have mattered if the Heat or the Bulls beat us in free agency, we'd have a nice young core to build around. Nothing good ever happens to this team. We did it to ourselves with our band-aid fixes over the years and numerous trading of draft picks... I hate this...

take back a $23 million gimp
Swap next years 1st
GIVE a 2012 pick

On the other hand, to dump Hinrich who sux DONKEY BALLZ, all the Wiz are asking for is the 17th?

This makes no sense whatsoever. I'll believe this when I see it

Seems like a bad trade for Washington but have to trust that Bucher is right. He's not always right, but this seems pretty solid.

No way...the whole article just reads like total cr&p, especially where he says that if it falls through wiht the bulls sacramento is there to jump in...

So I am supposed to believe teams are lining up for this? Please

Doesn't make sense why would they want Wall, Arenas and Hinrich?

Yes but any team will take on Taj Gibson and James Johnson which saves them 3 million. Not really hard after that.

That's because it IS time to panic. They have room for two maxes, plus they have an All-Star PG and an on the rise big man. They could have a championship calibre team withing the next couple of weeks.
