Thorpe: Will MIN use #16 + #23 to move up?

What grade would Chad Ford give the Wolves if they were able to grab both Favors and Ekpe Udoh, Xavier Henry, Paul George or Luke Babbitt? My guess is an A-plus-plus. The team that makes this deal with the Wolves could come off as a winner, too, as many people (including me) think that most of the players between No. 8 and No. 23 are about equal. So for some teams that just need cheap talent, this draft is perfect to add picks while trading down. The chance for Minnesota to grab two top talents, though, is the bigger part of this potential trade.

IND at #10?

NOH at #11?

#16 & #23 is better. IMO.

I'd be thrilled with a Favors and George/Henry draft. Babbitt would be 3rd choice. Udoh would be ultra redundant.

23 might go to other places.

-- The Knicks are trying to get pick No. 23 for $3 million and picks No. 38 and 39, according to the New York Daily News.

I'm surprised that Krapinsky isn't advocating trading for Monta Ellis + 6. What's up Doc?

Four 2nd rounders would make my head spin even worse from all the Euros we'd take, yelling Greivis! then grabbing Harongody instead, and then seeing that pick get traded for a 2012 2nd.

Are you kidding, that is gawd awful.
There is going to be a very good prospect available at 23.

I'd be upset if Kahn did that NY deal, he's said he will not sell a 1st round pick and while he'd be getting 2 2nd round picks the money would be the driving factor of this imo and I wouldn't be a fan of that.

I think the Wolves will certainly try to move up using 16 and 23 to move up and get a specific player like George or Henry if they are available.

ESPN just said "we'll have our draft coverage in Chicago, Cleveland, New York, and Miami"

That's four teams without a first. Nice work ESPN.

Cash Money is my least favorite thing in any trade scenario.
