That's not 'history' it's a stupid generalization that's not worth taking seriously.

And I'd love to see you tell Brad Miller he's not tough. He went from not getting drafted to making 2 all-star teams as a big in the West. He got there by working his ass off and being one of the toughest guys in the league.

Word, 'scan.

I would take Brad Miller on my team any day. Lee, too.

I hate generalizations...it's just intellectual laziness, IMO.

I don't like Perk as a person. He seems to have a bad attitude. But I would love him on the team. He's thick, tough, physical, and a good rebounder. To say he's the worst center in the league is really ignorant. Perhaps he wouldn't be a 5 to rave about 15-20 years ago, but in today's day and age he has great value in what he brings to the table. And do people realize his absence is one of the main reasons the C's lost game 7? And about him needing KG, he averaged 12/11/2.5 in the playoffs last year without him.

Pretty ignorant statement.
All i've heard the past few years is rondo being the ****, not Perkins. Now if you hate him because he plays for those choke artists in Boston...100% behind you.

SF, whats the latest? Still on course to take Turner I'm assuming, but any truth to this draft day noise about Iguodala?

wish i knew. Been out of pocket in terms of hearing anything since this morning.

I think there is enough noise going on(mannix, lynam,ed being late for DNL) that you can probably put two and two together.

99 percent of stuff you hear never happens...so take most things with a grain of salt.

I do know they are trying hard to get another pick. The Iguodala stuff would be new to me tho. The talk with Collins went fine as far as I know.

This as usual has gotten way off topic. Who really cares what color the player is? Lets stay on par with the draft. This has nothing to do with white males or the Boston Celtics not winning the title.
I mean you call one poster ignorant about a comment on Perkins yet you call the Celtics choke artists when they were anything but during the entire playoffs. In fact they were underdogs to be perfectly frank with you and it's non argumentative. NOBODY had them going to the finals.

As for the draft..... Gosh I can't wait... Hope we draft Turner.. SF.. Any new updates pending? The trade with Utah has me salivating if it happens. Gee I hope we make another move tonight. Maybe draft a white center named Cole Aldrich.

Watching Perkins' body language on the court leads me to believe this. He always seems to be in a bad mood and commits some hard fouls every now and then. Love his game though.

I hate Perkins. He always makes this face after every call he doesn't agree with. "Grrrr I'm a badass don't mess with me!"

He's such a clown.

Thanks SF. Can you ask for 5 more? Are we trading anything else?

Let him do his job. You will find out and at least it will be exciting. I like some tidbits now and then, but I also like things to be a surprise sometimes too.

Sorry you feel that way, but his is the draft thread, which includes updates from SF. While it was said in jest, if you want some surprise, stop reading and just watch at 5:30.

I happen to be an Iguodala supporter, but I don't think I could criticize that move one bit. Cousins could be a boom or bust guy, but the ability and size is certainly there.

No denial about an Iguodala deal? I guess that means he is in play...

not sure why my post was locked it was interesting to read..

alos find this interesting too.. my boy just sent this to me.... Iggy is all but gone. I think they were trying to get a 3rd team. Or trying to get another pick to send out with him. The convo between him and Collins supposedly didn't go so well.
I can say no more

i guess if sixersfan reports it yous will believe it but any how have fun tonight guys.. ill be posting with you all night

Iguodala being moved would be great...while he is a solid player, his contract and ego suck imo.

we'd be very young, and only have 1 more contract holding us back(brand)...and this would instantly become Evan Turners team.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
