As for Miami...I don't think players like Pat Riley at all. Not even Wade Likes him.

There is only one destination NYK and I laugh at the media trying to ignore them.

LOL you just said Chicago is horrible but "ONLY" 11 games better than NY? Derrick Rose, Deng, Noah is better than any trash on the Cavs (Mo Williams, Jamison, AV)

Talk with some logic at least....oh and the MJ Shadow excuse? Its old

Bulls also had multiple injuries. If they didn't have those, they would have likely won 50 games as would have Miami if Wade didn't get hurt the last few games.

With that said, the Bulls are losing Brad Miller and Kirk Hinrich from that 41 team roster. That is only one starter. They still keep their 3 best players.

The Knicks will lose their best player if they dump David Lee, and they also lose Al Harrington. David Lee + Al Harrington are so much better than Kirk Hinrich and Brad Miller.

What cap space did we have to reel in other FA's anyway?

Fans on both sides are acting like this is the finishing blow...but ****'s just getting started. You opened the salvos with the Jeffries trade. We got insanely, impossibly lucky by getting somebody to pay Hinrich 17 million dollars just to be Kirk Hinrich. That's our return fire. I believe Chicago has a better supporting cast. I also believe that what I believe doesn't actually matter. There remains moves that one or both sides could make that may still turn everything upon its' ear. A Curry trade. A Deng move. The Cavs robbing somebody in a trade.

I'm not quite as territorial as a lot of fans are, so purely as a guy who loves NBA basketball, this is probably the most dramatic series of events to ever occur to this league.

Although i NEVER, EVER thought of quitting on the team(and those decisions payed off immensely), it was just so painful to watch my team. From the Drama of kobe in the summer of 07, to the 1st round exits(06 being the most painful as we blew the 3-1 lead) against phoenix, to the god awful team that we had(sans kobe), I've been through just about the same pain as you knick fans(although knick fans have been through this longer). Then in 08, we got Pau Gasol, and every second since then, it's just been....a joyride. It's just been so good to get rid of those memories of the pain years and now, i've witnessed to, VERY satisfying championships. It's been nostalgia just like the 3 peat years.

Anyway, my message to knick fans, keep your heads up guys. I know things may look bleak, I know it seems like there is no "light at the end of the tunnel", but I good things come to people who are patient. Wish all the best for you guys, hoping you guys get the players you need to rise back to the nba elites, and hopefully, some day, we see another epic knicks vs lakers matchup.

Thanks for this. But honestly, when you've got the best player in the world in Kobe, and are making the playoffs year after year, there's really no need to quit on the team. I will never quit on the Knicks, but honestly I wouldn't blame others if they did. It's really tough to watch a team you love suck on a nightly basis. Not just regular suck but getting blown out by 50 to the Sixers suck.

Thanks for the encouragement though for real.

Darrington Hobson. Here we come.

Looks like we could use Lance Stephenson to revive this franchise

I don't know anything yet -- JUST SPECULATION -- but it would not shock me if the Wizards are sending salary back to Chicago. It could be a move that shaves salary for the Bulls but does not clear it all. We'll see. But I'd be a little surprised if the Wizards are sending nothing back to Chicago and only getting ONE pick, a mid first round pick.

Frankly it shocks me too. I must have severely underestimated Hinrich's value to other teams-- it makes no sense for the Wizards to do what they just did.

Why would the Bulls do this deal then?

I don't get it. Walsh decides to be proactive and becomes the first team to have room for 2 max cats. He had to give up the 2009 #8 pick, swap the 2011 pick, give away the 2012 pick, and take on T-Mac $23M salary just so Houston will pay Jeffries $13M on a contract that ends next summer.

Now you're saying all Chicago has to do to get their 2nd max slot is give up the #17 pick so Washington can pay Hinrich $17 on a contract that doesn't end until 2012? Are you freaking kidding me!?! This trade is a joke.

Rumor is Deng could be on his way to the Clippers or Kings.

Why can't all Bulls fans be like you. I would respect that franchise a lot more if that could happen.

Yeah this will do it. Chicago already had a much better roster than Cleveland or NY without this extra cap space, now they have it and LeBron should go there if he wants to win.

If Luol Deng gets dumped for more cap relief, just hand Chicago's GMs exec of the year awards already.

oh my god, get outta here with this crap. You've lived to see your team make the Finals SEVEN FREAKING TIMES this decade, while walking away with 5 championships as a result. So you had to endure a few decent years (I wouldn't call them bad by ANY stretch). Cry me a goddamn river. You were STILL making the playoffs and you still had the best player on the planet on your team. Your brief little fall from grace is nothing compared to what other teams around the league have had to endure. Think about what its like to be a Bucks, Wolves, Golden State, etc fan. The Lakers are the Yanks of the NBA, you might not make it to the Finals for a few years but you'll get back there inevitably
