Courtney Lee/Twill backcourt?

Eww..

At this point T-will is Igoudala lite but shorter and everyone knows how I feel about Courtney Lee(one of the worst starters in the league last year). This could be the worst backcourt in the league... good thing the trade won't happen.

I personally never saw the big deal with Lee when we got him and to this day, I still think he's not starter material. I never liked his game and I hope we can trade him soon...

I will say Lee improved immensely in the second half of the season and had the look of a fine starter as long as he was the 5th best starter and had little responsibility aside from hitting open 3's, playing tough nosed D, running the floor in transition and not turning the ball over.

Granger is very, very close to the same level as Melo.

I would take him WAY before Melo. Wait? You did mean for my FANTASY team right???? :D

Eh...Granger's good, but he's not THAT good. He's a #2.

I agree more or less...throw in the injury plagued aspect and it gets worse for me...

Woj:

Pacers want NJ to take Granger into cap space, and give them No. 3 pick. Nets don't want to take $10 million hit on summer room. Deal dying.

I'd do this to be honest. We'd still have enough for a max contract since we'll be subtracting whatever the 3rd pick makes. Then convince Bosh that this would be his team and since he sees himself as a cornerstone, he could sign with us.

Lopez
Bosh
Granger
Lee
Harris

Not too bad.

Fall back option. Deal with in July 8th if you can get the star big but NOT Lebron.

Tell you what. i prefer Granger as a fall back option over GAY!!!! No question.

But can we fall back on it...you know...when we need to?

I have a strong feeling if Greg Monroe or Ekpe Udoh had slipped to 10 this would have been a done deal.

Yeah but, I haven't run the #'s myself, but the orginal rumored deal would have actually shaved $2.9 million off the cap instantly in addition to adding Granger, while still getting a guy in the draft that Thorn was high on.

I'm still not saying I would have done the deal, even with Monroe of Udoh there(especially Udoh, so overrated, well taken too high at least), but I think it would have been done.
