Probably some draft picks changing hands in that deal, too. Getting CP3 would be incredible!

Otis better stop playing hardball and just give in and swallow Okafor's contract. No 3rd team is gonna help us get Paul.

I agree with you whole heartedly. I would not mind Okafor as the back 5 at all. Take that contract! That would be our summer, and we could concentrate on JJ or Barnes. Whatever! Get Chris Paul in a purrrrty Magic uni now!

Per Alex K Twitter

"AlexKennedyNBA Several rumors coming out of Orlando. It sounds like they're working on a trade but also have backup plan in case first deal falls through. "

Finally, a senior goes. Pingalore's the sportscaster for the local CBS news affiliate. Not sure how much credibility he has. I'd feel better if it was coming from Denton.

Magic say they'll hold on to 29th pick - OrlandoSentinel.com - Magic http://aggbot.com/docs/link.php?id=9846656&r=tw&c=209

CP3 talk aside, the first round is shaping up very well for us to get whoever we want at #29. Might be some pleasant surprises there in addition to who we worked out (not that Otis would EVER deviate from his board though).

No no no. I'm glad you posted that. I meant that it's good to hear that someone else was reporting Magic trade info too, as in Alex K.

Sidenote:

Can't believe a guy like C Hassan Whiteside and his upside has fallen so far in the draft.

I thought for sure he'd be gone by now.

Maybe Hawks get him.

The timing points to the notion that Ping is Kennedy's source.
